I think she might be planning to make her statement on the senate floor. I've heard it both ways in the last hour or so.
Sore loser laws are constitutionally problematic.
I suspect even Judge Kavanaugh would vote to strike them down.
The Constitution does not envision nor protect political parties. Hence it can’t tell an individual who loses a race in one party that it can’t stand for another.
Murkowski likes being controversial on this because she’s got air between those two ears. Wait until she runs again.
Absurd that this vote is even close
Collins is a YES
With Daines leaving town for his daughter’s wedding, and Murkowski voting no, Flake felt confident to vote yes knowing that Kavanaugh will go down.
I thought the same about Heidi Heitkamp, so her stated decision to vote "No" on Kavanaugh probably means she isn't all that interested in being re-elected.
I think that she told McConnell she’ll vote yes, but she wants to announce it.
Not a McConnell fan, but I think he knows exactly how it’s all going to play out. He probably knew all along Murk was a No.
How do you know?
Heitkamp essentially resigned from the Senate by announcing she is a no.
yep
wait till RBG croaks they’ll setting themselves on fire in the hearing room
Stop that. Daines is staying.
Wishful thinking or new info?
Is it possible to somehow primary out Sen. Murkowski when her current term ends? Never-Trumpers at this point in the game are more vicious little venomous snakes than outright opposition.
Calling Sen. Murcowski a “Republican” at this juncture is like the Democrats pointing to Robert Mueller and calling him a “Republican”. Anybody can go to the county courthouse and list their affiliation as they darned please, but that does not make you a “Republican” in anything but name only.
Daines is voting “yes”.
Indeed - the only question is whether she knows it yet.
MAD COW is a name already reserved, taken and owned by one Rachel. ;)

“Sore loser laws are constitutionally problematic.”
Well, we will see won’t we! There are a lot of festering legal issues ( like the Second Amendment) that the SCOTUS has treated like a piece of dog $hit on the front lawn for decades. Hopefully, the “new” SCOTUS will be “motivated” to go to work and resolve these matters instead of picking at them like a scab.
