I’d like to ad an old “dot” to the matrix linkage, about TV producer Norman Lear, Seidman’s boss later on in the late 80’s/90’s concerning smear attacks on Judge Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas (re Anita Hill).
Go to “www.keywiki.org”, look up the name “Wilfred Burchett”, and you will find both Norman Lear and his wife Ruth listed as “Birthday” sponsors of a 1977 event for identified KGB agent/Australian Communist/Red China operative during the Korean War, WILFRED BURCHETT.
The list of chairmen and sponsors for this event is a “Who’s Who” of the Hanoi Lobby/Communist Party/Guardian magazine (U.S. maoist oriented weekly back then) key members and activists.
While I don’t think that Lear was a CPUSA member, I do think he was the perfect DUPE for Jane Fonda and her friends who helped create the event. He was a potentially rich donor to the Hanoi Lobby earlier in the war and then for helping Burchett who was being exposed in a major trial in England as a Soviet KGB traitor against the Free World.
This may be a secondary or even tertiary issue re Seidman (who may not have known about his Burchett connection), it still shows what type of person he was and that she was working for him without checking about any of his potential background radical affiliations.
In reality, she wouldn’t have given a damn anyway because she was a far-left “Pitbull smear artist”. Ethics to her is as foreign as Patagonia in a storm. I really think that she had none. That is probably why Lear hired her.
Just a little history you won’t find in history books or the mainstream media.

Damned, if Ford can’t remember where she was, when, how, with whom, and how she got home, why should we trust her memory?

Well apparently President Reagan’s daughter, Patti Davis finds her story credible. She has recently announced that she was raped 40 years ago, and didn’t even tell her husband of many years, much less report it. Ms. Davis says she also remembers the act and her feelings in vivid detail, but other details are much more hazy. Now she is supporting Ford publicly. Wow!! Will this be a game changer???
