Kavanaugh accuser considered moving to another country, husband says

Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, considered moving to another country following Justice Anthony Kennedy’s retirement earlier this year, her husband says.

“She was like, ‘I can’t deal with this. If he becomes the nominee, then I’m moving to another country. I cannot live in this country if he’s in the Supreme Court,’” her husband, Russell Ford, told The Washington Post for a story published Saturday. “She wanted out.”

Kavanaugh was long considered a potential future nominee for the high court, being on a list Trump released during his 2016 campaign of people he would consider picking for the Supreme Court should a vacancy arise.

Ford's husband told The Post that she was relieved when Trump picked Neil Gorsuch last year to fill the Supreme Court vacancy created following the death of Justice Antonin Scalia. But worries resurfaced after Kennedy announced his retirement, he said.

“Her mind-set was, ‘I’ve got this terrible secret...What am I going to do with this secret?’” he said.

Ford’s lawyers have said that her family has faced threats and been forced to leave their house after she went public last Sunday with allegations that Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed and tried to remove her clothes during a high school party in the early 1980s when both were teenagers.

The allegations have upended the confirmation process for Kavanaugh and Ford is in negotiations with the Senate Judiciary Committee to arrange her public testimony.

She initially expressed openness to testifying Monday, but reneged, saying she wanted the FBI to investigate her claims first. Her lawyer later proposed a testimony for next Thursday if she could testify after Kavanaugh, he would not be in the same room as her and she would only be questioned by members of the committee.

The Judiciary Committee has rejected several of her requests while accepting others. Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) late Friday gave Ford more time to decide whether she would testify next Wednesday as part of a counter-offer from Republicans that would involve her testifying first.

Ford has until 2:30 Saturday afternoon to respond to the GOP counter-offer.

“Is she prepared to commit suicide for the cause ?”

If she is not a real person to begin with ...i am guessing yes.
And “she” will leave a long letter inditing Trump and calling for “free” Abortion in America.

And apparently more astute than me. I had no clue who might be the nominee when Kennedy announced. Maybe Brett called her to let her know? No, that can’t be it.

So, I hear Costa Rica has nice surf. And, she wouldn’t have to fly to get there. I’ll chip in for gas. But, it may be too late now. If we don’t have a vote quickly, the nomination is gonna be toast. And some people wonder why folks are fed up with d.c. Or at least the fauxpublicans.

She has this terrible Secret. When she went into a bedroom with a couple of guys wearing a bikini in the early 80s she claims somebody squeezed her titty.

The horror... the horror

She still can move to another country...

Maybe New Zealand? Like Ruth Buzzi Ginsburg?

Let’s start a “GoFundMe” to buy her a one way ticket to Caracas.

Don’t know how to break this to her, but men in almost every foreign country universally treat women worse, and regard American women as easy sex.

Since she doesn’t like to fly, she’ll have to take her paddleboard.

She is clearly a mental and emotional basket case. The paid assassins of the Democrat Party have figured out that she is not ready for big leagues and can’t stand up to the spotlight. So, they are trying the only tricks left in their bag: delay as long as possible and let the press carry their warped message to the November election. The weak link in the Republican chain is affluent suburban women and they are targeting them in all of this. It could produce several wins in Congressional districts, and it might stem the tide with the Senate. It’s all they’ve got at this stage. Kavanaugh will be confirmed.

So it was ok for him to be on the second highest court but not the highest. She “recovered” this memory in 2012 but only now came forward with it?

No worries for her if their is a ‘Blue’ wave she’ll be lionized (lioness-ized?), a heroine and everyone will love her for helping the Democrats achieve their long sought goal - total power. Those that don’t go along will disappear ...

Where are people that knew her for balance of high school, college, and more recently? I know she scrubbed her social history to create this new image but seriously, time for some transparency here.

She sounds highly over dramatic and unstable. A kid tried to grope her at a drunken teenage party and 35 years later she has to leave the country if he gets too high a position in life? She’s clearly not hitting on all cylinders.

She had a “terrible secret” that a 17 year old boy almost but not quite might have touched her swimsuit, had he first gotten through her shirt... and this made her want to flee the country 35 years later?

She is nuts... and so is her husband, who should have turned her over his knee years ago for being stuck in juvenile-ville :
