Kavanaugh accuser considered moving to another country, husband says

Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, considered moving to another country following Justice Anthony Kennedy’s retirement earlier this year, her husband says.

“She was like, ‘I can’t deal with this. If he becomes the nominee, then I’m moving to another country. I cannot live in this country if he’s in the Supreme Court,’” her husband, Russell Ford, told The Washington Post for a story published Saturday. “She wanted out.”

Kavanaugh was long considered a potential future nominee for the high court, being on a list Trump released during his 2016 campaign of people he would consider picking for the Supreme Court should a vacancy arise.

Ford's husband told The Post that she was relieved when Trump picked Neil Gorsuch last year to fill the Supreme Court vacancy created following the death of Justice Antonin Scalia. But worries resurfaced after Kennedy announced his retirement, he said.

“Her mind-set was, ‘I’ve got this terrible secret...What am I going to do with this secret?’” he said.

Ford’s lawyers have said that her family has faced threats and been forced to leave their house after she went public last Sunday with allegations that Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed and tried to remove her clothes during a high school party in the early 1980s when both were teenagers.

The allegations have upended the confirmation process for Kavanaugh and Ford is in negotiations with the Senate Judiciary Committee to arrange her public testimony.

She initially expressed openness to testifying Monday, but reneged, saying she wanted the FBI to investigate her claims first. Her lawyer later proposed a testimony for next Thursday if she could testify after Kavanaugh, he would not be in the same room as her and she would only be questioned by members of the committee.

The Judiciary Committee has rejected several of her requests while accepting others. Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) late Friday gave Ford more time to decide whether she would testify next Wednesday as part of a counter-offer from Republicans that would involve her testifying first.

Ford has until 2:30 Saturday afternoon to respond to the GOP counter-offer.

Plus, she will all of a sudden, get over her “fear” of flying.
And no one, in the media, will question it.

I went to a Summer resort once, and they had some bicycles to ride, but I didn’t want to ride a bicycle that thousands of other people had already ridden.

According to what I’ve read she’s no tease - she puts out.

Venezuela would be a good choice for Ford, but she might have trouble remembering that it’s a country and where it is.

This is all crap. You never hear from her. She never gets out and speaks herself. She has come up with a whopper lie. And now she has to repeat it under oath. Or she has to recant or hide. Of course she wants to leave the country.

Dad was a banker for the CIA, and she grew up in Maryland. Then she happens to become a PhD in Psychology. This is just more deep State crap

“That’s what a prosecutor would call a motive. It also reveals a somewhat hysterical personality. Who knew?”

Not borderline...over the border psycho neurotic. And a clinical psychology “professor” to boot! That’s what’s running our schools these days.

I am not aware of any interviews by her or her husband. No footage of either, Just where are they hiding out that the MSM can’t find her?

That will probably be next. A suicide attempt with pills or maybe cutting wrists. She could not take the pressure any more and does not want to relive the trauma.

Either she's an exaggerator/liar or she's mentally ill.

Any high schooler who goes to a party where the adults aren't home and drinking is involved knows the chances of the opposite sex making a move is high. It's usually the main reason you go to the party.

That any woman's life would be ruined because a drunk teenage boy jumped on top of her, then fell off the bed, is almost impossible to believe in the land of real life.

To: The people have spoken

Took a call at work from a guy who’s supposed to be the new “communications director” for a nonprofit organization, wanting to set up a meeting between their executive director and our company president. I was struck by how juvenile his speech sounded, for someone I could presume is college educated. It’s really sad to see how degraded the use of proper, spoken English has become.

Oh, she appears to be suffering and unable to engage the world around her due to her deep-seeded emotional trauma brought about by things she can barely remember.

She should be unable to walk down any street USA without being ridiculed.

Can you tell me how you know that her father was a banker for the CIA?

Even if that is the case, it doesn’t mean that the family endorses what she has done. But it might mean that there were others from the bureaucracy who were familiar with her life history.

It sounds to me like she may have moved to CA to get away from her previous life. That might include her family.

It would also be interesting to know more about the details of getting into Pepperdine, particularly if she was struggling in her undergraduate years.
