What’s the problem with work boots.
That’s ridiculous.
Probably not the boots but what they track in. I’ve seen workers leave big clumps of mud on the floors of restaurants. Yuck.
And, it is a private business, so he should be able to allow or disallow whomever he wants.
I sometimes wear white T-shirts. I don’t know if my Red Wing work boots would be mistaken for Timberland. Probably not since my work boots are also cowboy boots. But not for dining after 8PM? Sounds reasonable to me.
Although I generally eat by 6PM and never in a pub of any kind.
Last night, somebody who was wearing workboots tracked road tar all over my store floor and it won’t come off with a mop.
... after 8 pm Friday and Saturday ... doesn’t seem unreasonable.

Hipsters wear Timberlands with skinny jeans.
Seems to me the list isn’t racist, it just doesn’t want hipsters or gangsters as clientele.
