CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and comedian Dave Chappelle are among eight people being honored by Harvard University for their contributions to black history and culture, the university announced Thursday.

All eight recipients of the W.E.B. Du Bois Medal will be honored by the Hutchins Center for African and African American Research at Harvard.

"The medal honors those who have made significant contributions to African and African-American history and culture, and more broadly, individuals who advocate for intercultural understanding and human rights in an increasingly global and interconnected world," the Hutchins Center said.

LMFAO!!!
I can remember when a Harvard University degree actually meant something.
Now the whole place is in shambles.
Liberalism destroys everything it touches....EVERYTHING, including the once great Harvard University.
Liberalism is the BORG of this century and should be treated as such.

Big Jay McNeely just died at age 91.

I’ll bet he never got an award from them for contributions to black history or culture.

“And what do I get from Harvard? I should be offered an Honorary Doctorate Degree at the very least! I’ll just keep checking my email.”

1) if you have to ask the price you can’t afford that degree.

2) Colin K is obviously a hero who has done much more than that stuffy old Rev M L King. Colin “sacrificed everything.”

The left perpetrates black dependancy by encouraging them to blame their self-inflicted failures on Whitey.

Sorry to hear that.
I am ashamed to say Keith Ellison got his BA from my political science degree alma mater Wayne State University.

You and I have to live these associations down and get on with our lives.

W.E.B. Du Bois Medal

Well, they’re fitting. Wasn’t W.E.B. Du Bois on record as favoring the Genocide in the Ukraine? He was certainly a communist sympathizer.

Dave Chappelle at least has a sense of irony, and tells funny jokes.

Du Bois was a Communist sympathizer and admirer of Stalin who officially joined the party in 1961. He supported the general Communist Party line for years. Whether he ever actually said that he thought people in Ukraine should be starved is another matter.
