Huh. Democrats Really Don’t Want Those Carter Page FISA Docs Released

When the President made the decision to order the declassification and release of various documents from the Russia, Russia, Russia investigation, there was an immediate uproar. The documents to be declassified included one section of the initial 2017 FISA application against Carter Page, as well as some of the FBI’s notes taken during interviews with Page and Bruce Ohr, having mostly to do with the Steele dossier. The strange aspect of the protests was the fact that they all seemed to be coming from one side of the aisle. Now, the most senior Democrats in Congress are trying to slam the brakes on the process by asking the Justice Department and the FBI to provide an “immediate briefing” to the Gang of Eight. Leading congressional Democrats are looking to stall the process to release documents related to the Russia investigation, which President Donald Trump ordered declassified on Monday.

Reps. Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff and Sens. Chuck Schumer and Mark Warner, sent a letter Tuesday asking Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, FBI Director Christopher Wray and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats to provide an “immediate briefing” to the Gang of Eight before declassifying and releasing the documents…

The Democrats argue that Trump’s action is a “brazen abuse of power” aimed at undermining the special counsel’s investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government.

They further claimed that “absent an indictment,” the subjects of federal investigations “should not be able to access law enforcement or related national security information for any reason.”

The Democrats talk this way after eight years of 0bama.

Hypocrisy is their hallmark.

Maybe someone can post a picture of that little boy flipping the bird and apparently verbalizing the meaning as well.

Carter Page was never charged with or indicted for a crime relating to Russian collusion.

Democrat claim declassifying documents related to him would compromise national security of the ongoing Mueller witch hunt is pure hogwash.

If and only if there are indictments, arrests and trials of the likes of McCabe, Page, Comey et al will these releases, hearings and rants be meaningful. Its when these criminals face actual jail time, the drop the tough guy act and flip. Then Obama will be in real danger. That is why he was stuttering badly recently and has now been quiet. Suspect that he got a call that one of his clowns is testifying before the grand jury.

Doesn’t apply when the Deep State spied on a Trump campaign operative.

Carter Page was spied on to allow for the “2 jump rule”. That means people that are a second contact from Carter Page can be spied on, aka Donald Trump. Dan Bongino explains this in his book and on the Mark Levin show from 09-17-18

the same liberals that are wailing at the moon over exposing “sources and methods” were literally leaking classified information (including sources and methods) when the the enemy was jihadist whackjobs trying to kill us.

apparently, secrecy is only required when the target is a fellow american with whom they merely have political differences.

The Dems don’t want the citizens to know the Sources and Methods about a FISA application, and attempted coup.

SOURCES: Hillary Clinton, Democrat National Committee, Perkins Code, Fusion GPS, Stephan Halper, Christopher Steele (foreign agent) and Russian Intelligence Agents.

METHODS: Use Russian gossip and disinformation to make a file (dossier); use circular gossip and entrapment; leak negative info to the media and claim subsequent stories are independent from the Dossier. Use Carter Page’s previous assistance to the FBI to claim he is working with the Russians. Present incomplete and lie filled written application to a FISA judge who rubber stamps the approval without a hearing.

Seems the only people hurt by these revelations would be the bad guys trying to cover their butts.

Here are possible explanations:

1. Carter Page was an FBI plant.

2. Obama is copied on some of the emails and memos etc.

3. Brennan is copied, or originated the emails and memos, which would be violation of US law since the CIA is barred from conducting a domestic operation.

4. Hillary Clinton or others in her operation were copied, or parties to the communications.

5. There are discussions that make it very clear that all of this was political.

The President has ordered these documents produced, unredacted. If they redact them, then they are at least demonstrating insubordination. They would also be committing obstruction of Congress, and now, obstruction of justice since the President who ordered them to be produced is a law enforcement officer.

FISA docs should have been released already:

Yes. I think Trump has some of the blame for this. Should have declassified them much earlier. But I think he’s out of his element, so he’s just following advice, which is bad advice.

If he wanted to fire even Rosenstein, it would have been very easy. He would just need to order Rosenstein to produce these documents without redactions and give him a deadline, telling him that if it did not happen by the deadline, he would be fired. Then when he doesn’t comply, fire him. No way could that be construed as obstruction of justice, except maybe obstruction of justice by Rosenstein.

Step 1: Trump walks into the DOJ.
Step 2: Trump demands the documents, in his hand, right now
Step 3: Trump fires whoever refuses to comply with his lawful demand
Step 4: Trump holds a press conference and releases the documents

Nobody could interfere with that, not Congressional democrats, not Mueller, not lib judges. Nobody.

In other words, don’t release the documents because it will mean the end of the democrat party for a generation.
