FULL TITLE: NFL’s Nightmare Becomes Reality As ‘Monday Night Football’ Posts Worst Week 2 Ratings EVER Recorded

The NFL is not going to fold. They are way too big to be derailed by a controversy like this but there’s no doubt they have lost fans which means they have lost money that they didn’t need to lose.

From Breitbart:

The ratings for Week Two’s Monday Night Football game between the Chicago Bears and the Seattle Seahawks, crashed to the lowest numbers ever recorded for a Week Two Monday night game.

That’s bad no matter how you slice it.

The NFL needs to have their players keep their political views hidden, they are supposed to play for all. Not just those who support their silly cause.
/////////////////////////

This could be ended in a week if A few courageous players would stand behind the kneelers with large signs saying “STOP ABORTION! BABIES LIVES MATTER!!!!!!”

League would never allow that to continue. All fans need to make a stand for sports and entertainment free from politics. The fan is a customer, buying a product. No company would be allowed to sell sour milk and no sports league should be allowed to sell a politicized game telecast.

My excitement for politics soared at the election of President Trump after YEARS of frustrating setbacks and go nowheres.

The NFL will also return when they too do the right thing to bring patriotism, yea .. fanatical patriotism, back to the game.

Even double digit IQ's can see that.

But.......Beth Mowins heads the announcers for Monday Night Football now. Surely you must appreciate her dulcet tones and scintillating insights into the game.

"Dulcet" and "Beth Mowins" should never be used in the same sentence. Her voice is terrible, it's so bad that the local ESPN radio crew complained about it.

48 days until Gonzaga's basketball season starts, counting the days. It's going to be a really enjoyable year for the Zags.

Monday Night Football used to be available on Free TV.

Now, only by having a dish or cable.

That isn’t helping them at all, either.

The fan is a customer, buying a product.

No, the NFL's customers are the networks that buy the TV rights to the games. The networks' customers are the advertisers. The fans are the product. Them's the facts.

There hasn’t been a combo like Cossell, Meredith and Gifford since. Listening to Cossell pontificate while Meredith bursts his bubble and Gifford plays straight man was quite an experience. (”Turn out the lights, the party’s over.”) The only sports combo that came close was Dizzy Dean and PeeWee Reese.

The original Monday Night Baseball crew of Bob Prince, Warner Wolf and Bob Uecker was close.

It seems Pete Carroll has a genetic disposition to not wanting to hire decent offensive linemen.

The last world class O-linemen Seattle had were Walt Jones and Steve Hutchinson.

Unless and until they hire an O-line, they are going to be sub 500. And Russell Wilson will not be healthy enough to play out the season. I say he’s out by week 5.

If you haven’t seen it, look up Bob Uecker’s speech at his induction into the Hall of Fame (on YouTube). It had Hank Aaron and other baseball greats rolling in the aisles.

The NFL is suffering from classical left wing stupidity...

You can ignore reality, but you can’t ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.

The NFL let a bunch SJW types tell them the world was flat, and they went along with it.... the rest of the world, well they knew it was round... So the NFL now deals with the consequences of ignoring reality.
