FULL TITLE: NFL’s Nightmare Becomes Reality As ‘Monday Night Football’ Posts Worst Week 2 Ratings EVER Recorded

The NFL is not going to fold. They are way too big to be derailed by a controversy like this but there’s no doubt they have lost fans which means they have lost money that they didn’t need to lose.

From Breitbart:

The ratings for Week Two’s Monday Night Football game between the Chicago Bears and the Seattle Seahawks, crashed to the lowest numbers ever recorded for a Week Two Monday night game.

That’s bad no matter how you slice it.

All praise be to the kneelers!

-—Yep, I stopped watching last year. I really miss it, I love football-—

If you would have told me 25 years ago that someday I wouldn’t know anything about pro football, I would have called you crazy. BUT, today I couldn’t care less about the game and can’t even name the teams or four players.

My Sundays and other times are too precious to waste watching some overpaid primadonnas playing a game. I spend time with family and friends doing things we enjoy doing. God only gives each of us so much time. I’m not wasting mine on the NFL. I guarantee you, in a year, you will feel the same, southernindymom.

For Shame! You watched the Game?

Boycott means completely ignoring the NFL and NIKE.

Issues beyond the kneeling are now beginning to pile-up.

Here in Pittsburgh our two star players are sitting on the sidelines having a snit. Spoiled, juvenile multi-millionaires who are having a tantrum because EVERYTHING is not going their way. Relieving themselves on the fans who enabled them to get where they are.

The NFL is going to pay a very, very high-price for coddling guys who would have been eighth-grade dropouts if they were not able to play ball.

In the business world, whenever profitability drops and stays down, it’s time to reevaluate and then you may learn reorganization is necessary.

That was before the SJW's took over every MBA program on the planet. I think they would prefer to lose money up until the brink of extinction, rather than being considered as "unwoke".

If every patriotic American would do what is right by their country and family it would. Give me one redeeming quality about the outfit.

Hope everyone remembers to refrain from purchasing NFL paraphernalia. That will have a large impact as well.

And don’t forget about Nike!

Are those overpaid buffoons called “football players” still trying to make themselves important”? I’d suggest they are too stupid to realize they brought these boycotts on themselves. Justly deserved!

Time for Hockey!!!

Yep. Watched the Hawks as well as the Cowboys, which was a fantastic game.

I have no intention on buying tickets but I will watch the games and root for my favorite teams. Not everyone in the NFL is unpatriotic, in fact many are quite patriotic. I have personally known a couple of NFL players and they love this country passionately. I support them.

Bring in Jackie Moon.

The NFL deserves every lost viewer and fan. Be it overproduced babble mouths reading scripted nonsense from sideline teleprompters, ruining the game with ridiculous rules, or spoiled overpaid thugs lecturing us, I am thru with the NFL.

You know...if you were looking a decade ahead, and the continued decay of the NFL...you have to wonder about the NCAA game, and how there is no real big money-maker career for 16-year old or 17-year old kids playing right now. The money-machine will slowly dissolve over the next decade.

They might not fold up now but in 20 years they just might have to. There are a lot of people who don’t let their kids play football because of the head injury issue. I’m talking about people who loved and played the sport themselves. Add to that the kneeling stupidity and the future doesn’t look good for the league.

That new MNF announcing crew is probably the worst they’ve ever had.
I've watched MNF since Day 1 and there were none better than ... Even if I didn't give damn about the game, I'd tune in just to listen.
