I am quite sure that her scrubbed social media has been unscrubbed and she knows it. The cat will get out of the bag if she takes the stand. She wanted this to delay the hearing just long enough to give the rats the opportunity to take the gavel from Grassley.
Most likely this was a fill in the blank allegation. When she saw the name Kavanaugh and saw that he was the nominee, she suddenly remembered this never before revealed attack and filled in the blank with his name.
Yeah let her testify. She won’t. She has nothing and she knows it. She’s just playing for time.

We’ll see. You could be right. But my money is on her “declining” to show up. More likely she will submit some type of written “testimony”.
I don’t think she is willing to undergo cross examination. She appears to be long on emotion but short on facts to substantiate her “claim”.
Kavanaugh is going to remain calm, thoughtful and distinguished. She will not be able to compete with his demeanor and intelligence IMHO.
With Corker gone, Flake doesn’t even matter. They can get Tester or some other dem who needs to be reelected in a state that hates this kind of character assassination shit to replace him.

So what if she does? What can she possibly do or say? Kavanaugh says he doesn’t know her and wasn’t even there. Unless she has photographs from 1982 of the two of them at a party there’s nothing she can say or do to incriminate Kavanaugh.
The Democrats have such a strange and disconnected fascination with sex. When it suits their purposes, they promote anything out of the natural norm as ‘OK’ - while at the same time, they puritanically condemn even the slightest (even imaginary) misstep on the part of a political opponent. They seem to think that we’re all as lasciviously obsessed with sex as they are.
I don’t think these tactics are working anymore...you can’t fool all the people all the time, and everyone has become inured to this crap.

Just think about it - by pleading with Kavanaugh to withdraw, you fell in line with Schumer's cocked-up plan - that he and DiFi felt freaking confident to resurrect Anita Hill! You didn't even question the absurd premise that somehow the Democrats of 2018 would even know who Anita Hill IS? Or question that this was their sole gambit to shore up their fading female vote! That somehow they could run the same goddamn lazy playbook?
