The going back 36 years with not even a decade declared with certainty is all so the story can shift with any discoveries - and you know the autist on the chans are digging.
If the allegation had been serious, the alleged victim coukd have pursued appropriate remedies decades ago.
All of this is just slander and the FBI isn’t wasting its time on what is essentially a local crime. The Democrats are trying to trash a man’s reputation because they couldn’t and can’t win against him on the merits.
Its all they have left and its beneath unconscionable.
If she was telling the truth, the obvious question is why she never pursued pressing appropriate charges back then?
To that question she and her defenders have no answer. The Senate has no business lowering itself to this kind of nonsense.
No facts have been established here for it to review.
For the record, I don’t believe Christine Ford is telling the truth.

1) GOP needs to do better calling BS on Democratic demands for an “FBI investigation.” FBI background checks of nominees involve interviewing people, and putting results in a file. The report goes to WH/Senate, solely for guidance. FBI isn't sleuthing “crimes” in these checks.
While there is not a fact based way to discern the actual truth here, you can definitely come to the conclusion that this is a lie based on her own statements, and how she scrubbed her own social media, arranged for a poly that anybody who can read can learn to pass, hired a dem activist lawyer, and then proceeded to pretend like the didn’t ever want to be named. So very, very scripted.
When something is “too perfect” to be true - it usually is. And this is oh so perfect!
1- cannot remember the time or place, so he cannot establish alibi
2- accuses of desire to ‘rape’ with no proof whatsoever that this was her attacker’s goal
3- aligns perfectly with some of the garbage in Judge’s book, which was probaby the basis for the accusation
4- includes the ‘oh so horrific’ potential of ‘inadvertant’ murder
5- isn’t a claim of an actual attack, but rather of an “attempt” where it’s really 100% based on her own perception
I really think that throwing this “I thought he could kill me” in there is the biggest red herring. People don’t die that easily. Suffocating somebody to death isn’t like accidentally bumping into somebody who happens to be standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon.
This looks like a “how to kill a nomination with no evidence at all” come to life. You can just imagine a few California liberals sitting around their Palo Alto luxury home sipping wine as they came up with this.
To the rest of America, it should stink of BS.

Diane Tanyahardingstein clearly doesn’t care if it’s a federal crime or not. It’s not the crime anyway, nor the seriousness of the charge; it’s the seriousness of the consequences if Kavanaugh becomes a Supreme Ct justice.
By Monday — I’ll be surprised if she hasn’t got a long backbench of “victims.”
Kavanaugh might have been at a party where, by her own admission, Christine Blasey Ford was so stumbling drunk she doesn't even remember the date, the location, or how she got home.
While at this party she stumbled into a sober and gentlemanly Brett Kavanaugh who, recognizing her vulnerability, guided her away from the party and toward a quiet bed room where she could sleep it off. On the way, she puked, leaving a steaming pile of vomit (sort of like this accusation) on the carpet and dribbling bile from her mouth. Brett, stopped in the nearby bathroom and moistened a washcloth with warm water to wipe her mouth. As he lay her down on the bed, she jolts to consciousness and, so drunk that she didn't know what was happening, she struggled, spewing more bile and vomit. Brett again wiped her mouth and reassured her quietly and tried to keep her from falling out of the bed and onto the floor. During her struggle, her shirt had risen up and was in danger of exposing her chest. He chivalrously re-arranged her clothes to make sure she was covered and straightened her out on the bed moving her to the center away from the edge.
Brett then arranged for a friend to take her home when she sobered up a bit so as to avoid her getting in trouble with her parents. And as it turned out, when she got home, she was so ashamed of her conduct and actions, that she NEVER SPOKE OF THE EVENT AGAIN.
This sounds more like the Judge Brett Cavinaugh I watch during the hearings and the Brett Cavinaugh that his high school girlfriends, friends, and peers knew and know.
OR ... We take the word of a confirmed Left Wing Activist who wants desperately to make a name for herself other than as an angry, LOUSY Professor (according to student surveys).
