FBI: Brett Kavanaugh ‘Allegation Does Not Involve Any Potential Federal Crime’

The Department of Justice (DOJ) said Monday that the FBI will not investigate the sexual misconduct allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. After refusing to participate in a phone call with Kavanaugh set up by Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), led by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Democrats on the Judiciary Committee called on the FBI to investigate high school-era allegations against Kavanaugh.

“In view of the enormity and seriousness of these allegations, a staff-only phone call behind closed doors is unacceptable and Democratic staff will not participate,” Feinstein said in a statement on Monday.

She added that the FBI “has the resources and know-how to conduct an objective, independent evaluation of these sensitive allegations with appropriately trained investigators.”

Senate Minority Leader Schumer (D-NY) is also calling for an FBI investigation.

On Tuesday, Feinstein again called on the FBI to investigate the allegation of a local crime 36 years ago when Kavanaugh was 17 and still in high school:

One woman waited 35 years to make an uncorroborated allegation.
Another woman—an elected senator—held onto that accusation for months without letting even her colleagues know it existed.
And yet, they’re supposed to be the credible sources here—against a man who has an otherwise stellar record?

I hope this load of crapola from the Left galvanizes people with common sense to get out and VOTE in November.

In view of the enormity and seriousness of these allegations

Rubbish.

This tale is neither enormous nor serious.

DiFi needs to be sworn in as a witness in Grassley’s committee when they bring in Kavanaugh and Ford. DiFi owes us all an explanation, under oath, as to her motivation and actions that delayed discovery of this complaint, and if it was timed to be another “Clarence Thomas High Tech Lynching” 11th hour moment.

DiFi failed to talk to Kavanaugh about the letter when he was in her office for a private meeting, she failed to bring it up in open session in the committee meetings, and she failed to bring it up in closed session.

The letter was “leaked”. By whom? DiFi herself? Ford herself? FBI? CIA?

When the letter was handed off to the FBI, was it with or without a signature or name?

It is alleged that Ms. Ford was the faculty liaison for the CIA intern program on campus. Was the letter leaked via her contacts in the CIA?

It is alleged that Ms. Ford’s attorney is paid by the Soros group. The same attorney was used to defend Democrat public officials accused of very similar actions. I guess they are good at both sides of the game.

The left doesn’t simply want to WIN, they are committed to DESTROY anyone and everyone who does not think their way

She added that the FBI "has the resources and know-how to conduct an objective, independent evaluation of these sensitive allegations with appropriately trained investigators."

Right.

They'll start by going to every house near a golf course in Montgomery County that was standing in 1982 and start dusting it for fingerprints.

Why haven't we heard from Spartacus on this?

Even if this was true, which it is not, there is no crime. Not even a penalty. So some HS kid tried to mash with a girl and she rebuffed him? Oh my, the horror.

I profoundly hope that you are correct. This whole gambit from the Left flies totally in the face of common sense. The use of the adjective "enormity" by the California Senator over alleged teenaged behavior at an underaged drinking party, suggests insanity rather than justified outrage.

‘Allegation Does Not Involve Any Potential Federal Crime’

Sounds like a basis for a special prosecutor. What say you, Rod Rosenstein?

It’s not like he’s being accused of a real crime like colluding with Russians, after all.

Since when does the FBI investigate physical altercations among teenagers?

And even if they did investigate, what is there to do? There are a handful of people to talk to, and no corroboration, no physical evidence to look at, no witnesses. Investigation would be over in 15 minutes even if they did get involved.

This tale is neither enormous nor serious.

The libel and slander behind it, the arrogance and power-lust of the people promoting it, though ... these things are enormous and serious. McConnell should strip Feinstein of her committee assignments. The whole Senate should censure her. Judge Kavanaugh would likely have grounds to sue her, and that skank Blowsy Fraud.

“Ford described a ‘rape attempt’ in her late teens.”

“She said she believes it occurred in the summer of 1982, when she was 15, around the end of her sophomore year at the all-girls Holton-Arms School in Bethesda.”

https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/california-professor-writer-of-confidential-brett-kavanaugh-letter-speaks-out-about-her-allegation-of-sexual-assault/2018/09/16/46982194-b846-11e8-94eb-3bd52dfe917b_story.html

The age 15 is mid-teens, not late teens.

Was there more than one incident? Are the details getting mixed up?

I have heard RUMORS that the DemocRATS have offered to DROP the smear campaign against Justice Kavanaugh IF President Trump HALTS the declassification of the FISA documents. I say NO DEAL! The accuser seems to be nothing but a tawdry, lying slut.

Where would the FBI even start? Check all the year books at schools in the area for that time period and then track all these people down and ask about a long ago forgotten party that they may have attended?

You interview 100 people and I bet you get 100 different stories on this alleged party. Some people are probable deceased by now including the people who owned the home where the party took place.

Now add into the mix Ms. Ford claims she was a alcoholic at age 15 and slept with, according to her, over 65 men between high school and college. Now given that statement it would seem she slept with anyone who wanted her whenever. So how can she claim any kind of Sexual Assault given her then behavior?

Now I wonder of her husband knew of all of this when he married her? I would probably have a lot of questions and hard time dealing with a woman with that kind of background.

So many questions and so much that really stinks to high heaven.

“She said she often spent time in the summer at the Columbia Country Club pool in Chevy Chase, where in those pre-cellphone days, teenagers learned about gatherings via word of mouth. She also doesn’t recall who owned the house or how she got there.

“Ford said she remembers that it was in Montgomery County, not far from the country club, and that no parents were home at the time. Ford named two other teenagers who she said were at the party. Those individuals did not respond to messages on Sunday morning.”

https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/california-professor-writer-of-confidential-brett-kavanaugh-letter-speaks-out-about-her-allegation-of-sexual-assault/2018/09/16/46982194-b846-11e8-94eb-3bd52dfe917b_story.html

“Ford said that on the night of the party, she left the family room to use the bathroom, which was at the top of a narrow stairway.”

How many houses have only a second floor bathroom in the general area of the country club?

It probably had to be the parents’ home of one of the four teenagers.

The Post should be able to figure out the address of the house.
