Is this a surprise to anyone other than naive young Bernie Sanders devotees? But why can the US media not cover such stories and it's left to a French media outlet to tell the truth?

Stab wounds, shrapnel, and tire tracks up your back are all covered.

From the article, it looks like they are starting to run out of “other people’s money”.

You can have a welfare state or you can have multiculturalism. You can't have both.

I have a friend in Wales that enjoys ‘Free” NHS Health Care. Well, his wife has server arthritis of the knees and needs surgery to replace them. Well, the good thing is, as she waits the Five years for the surgery ( Only those over fifty qualify ), she will enjoy five years of Free Morphine. I wonder if her drug addiction will also be treated for ‘Free’ after surgery?

Sweden has 60% MORE doctors per capita than the US has so if they have a shortage then think about how bad ours is.

It’s a surprise to me that a Swede’s name is Asia Nader.

This is remarkable.

“Swedes, who on average pay more than half of their income in tax, see access to healthcare as the most important issue in the September 9 general election, polls suggest.”

Assuming that election choices are still secret, it’s understandable, given their Fascist state, that people there will publicly use the ‘safe answer’ when polled (i.e., healthcare), but then, when in the privacy of the booth, vote on the one REAL issue destroying their country - immigration.

This is going back about 10 years. I had an acquaintance in Montreal who was complaining she would have to wait 6 months for a pap smear and a mammogram. I told her I could have both arrange for her in a weeks time if she wanted to hop a flight to NY.

You get Prioritized with Socialized Medicine. If you are an immigrant, old or infirm, you get delayed.

My daughter had a tumor in her wrist eating the bone. But because she was an immigrant to the EU, she was delayed half a year until it ate her arm to the elbow. It also spread to her lungs. So they gave her chemo and removed that part of her arm - she survived.

We have no idea how bad Socialized Medicine really is.

If the U.S. adopts a Canadian style socialized medicine system, where will the Canadians go when they need to see a doctor and do not want to wait several months?

The headline is an oxymoron. If you can’t get it, it is not world class health care.

That’s like saying the best heart surgeon in the world lives near you, but won’t treat you. Worthless.
