President Donald Trump announced Friday that he'll come to Texas in October to hold a "major rally" for Sen. Ted Cruz in the biggest stadium in Texas.
I'm picking the biggest stadium in Texas we can find. As you know, Ted has my complete and total Endorsement. His opponent is a disaster for Texas - weak on Second Amendment, Crime, Borders, Military, and Vets!" Trump tweeted.
They've become close allies since Trump's election. Cruz has wrapped himself in the president's tax and immigration policies and lauded him for stocking federal courts with conservatives.
Cruz responded:...."Terrific! Texas will be glad to see you. Working together, we’ve won major victories for the people of Texas: historic tax cuts, repealing job-killing regulations, rebuilding the military & confirming strong constitutionalist judges. And as a result, the Texas economy is booming!"
At least one venue in Texas holds more than 180,000, so that's a Texas-sized promise.

Did you hear the things Trump had said about his father? That would be difficult to put behind him.
The fact both men have put it behind them at least professionally - what they said about each other which was beyond the normal political attacks - is to the credit of both of them, quite frankly.

But a rally that size, will send shock waves.
It will be a momentum builder for anyone Trump campaigns for.
Ted is polling ahead by 9%... which is 800,000 votes in Texas (8.55m votes in 2016)... but 9% is also the closest that a Dem has been in Texas in many years, so the Left is over-hyping the possibilities in the race.
In 2016, Trump won Texas by 9% as well, 52-43. There were no TX Senate or Governor races in 2016, but in 2014, Sen John Cornyn won 61-34 (27 points), and Gov Abbott won 59-39 (20 pts). 9pts is a huge improvement for the bad guys.

Trump’s out there pounding the pavement for the midterms in a huge way, while running Washington no less. The least we need to do is vote where our guys are running... and in November. He has pointedly asked for our help to get out there and vote. .and that’s very little to what he carries on his plate.
Let’s hope the Trump visit does the trick, but he should come twice, September and October. This Democrat, O’Rourke, seems to have massive appeal, and we can’t afford to downplay O’Rourke’s prospects.

Well then it’s up to us to support Trumps supporting Cruz ‘now’.....he’s asked that we support those he wants and he’s chosen Cruz... therefore the least we can do is help where he asks.
Besides the other guy certainly isn’t want Texans want!
