Some bishops will use this new case as a call for Francis to step down via a call for investigations. The strange flipside parallels between Trump and Pope Francis continue. The Left couldn’t stop Trump in the election so they resorted to investigations to get rid of him. Pope Francis was elected pope and now it may be an investigation that forces him out (although that looks unlikely at this time).
Go to the "Church Militant" website and others that are denoting cover-ups like this in MI, NY State, and other States as well. If these are correct and true, perhaps this is just the tip of the iceberg and the Church is in for a whale more of hurt, and please take that in context, that is not to diminish the hurt of the victims of this evil. FWIW maybe it is to many yrs here on FR where you see trends and the unvarnished truth that is ugly and I am beyond cynical. However my gut is telling me their are more shoes to drop with this continuing story.
The difference is that Trump is innocent of all accusations. Pope Fanky, not so much.
