Bp Strickland Joins Calls for Investigation Which Would Lead to Pope Francis' Resignation
Diocese of Tyler, TX ^ | 2018-08-26 | Bp Strickland

Posted on 08/26/2018 8:34:36 AM PDT by dangus

Dear Priests, Deacons, Religious and all Holy Faithful of the Diocese of Tyler,

A letter (see below) by Archbishop Vigano, former Nuncio to the United States, raises grave allegations and calls for the resignation of numerous high ranking prelates including Pope Francis.

Let us be clear that they are still allegations but as your shepherd I find them to be credible. Using this standard the response must be a thorough investigation similar to those conducted any time allegations are deemed to be credible. I do not have the authority to launch such an investigation but I will lend my voice in whatever way necessary to call for this investigation and urge that it’s findings demand accountability of all found to be culpable even at the highest levels of the Church.

As this unfolds I urge all in the Diocese of Tyler to pray fervently for Holy Mother Church and beg the Intercession of Our Blessed Mother. We are the flock of Jesus Christ. He is Lord of His Church and His Holy Spirit will guide us through this darkness.

Almighty God Father, Son and Spirit have mercy on your Church and cleanse her in the fires of your Love.

Blessed Virgin Mary, Pray for us All Sainted Popes & Bishops in Heaven, Pray for us All Holy Men and Women, Pray for us

I direct all priests to include this notice in the masses on August 26, and post it on their websites and other social media immediately.

Most Reverend Joseph E. Strickland Bishop of Tyler

DANGUS NOTES:

Abp Vigano has provided documentation that he warned Pope Francis that Cdl McCarrick was a predator. He claims that Pope Benedict had quietly removed McCarrick from public ministry (why quietly? Did he believe the accusations were credible but unproven?), but Francis not only rehabilitated McCarrick, but basically allowed him to rebuild a network of homosexual predators and enablers, including Cdl. Blase Cupich of Chicago. Also, that when Pope Francis found Vigano believed that Cdl. Wuerl was part of the problem, he sidelined Vigano and essentially made Honduran Cdl. Maradiago the bishop-maker of the U.S.

Maradiago is a leftist living the high life of opulence in a desperately poor nation. Pope Francis has canned a prominent bishop of wealthy Germany for less. More to the point, Maradiago has been charged with enabling a seminary in Honduras that is rife with homosexual predation.

As a leftist apologist for liberation theology, Maradiago is precisely the sort of character that those conservatives who supported Francis thought that Francis would adeptly suppress.

"(although that looks unlikely at this time)."

Go to the "Church Militant" website and others that are denoting cover-ups like this in MI, NY State, and other States as well. If these are correct and true, perhaps this is just the tip of the iceberg and the Church is in for a whale more of hurt, and please take that in context, that is not to diminish the hurt of the victims of this evil. FWIW maybe it is to many yrs here on FR where you see trends and the unvarnished truth that is ugly and I am beyond cynical. However my gut is telling me their are more shoes to drop with this continuing story.

Someone in another forum said that Vigano, Pentin (who published the statement) and even Diane Montagna, the very excellent translator, should get food tasters and look both ways before crossing the street.

One thing that Vigano mentions is the sudden death of Pietro Sambi, the Nuncio before Vigano, who was loyal to BXVI and was trying to clean up the situation in the US hierarchy. Vigano doesn’t say that he was killed, but I think one can certainly draw that inference from it.

Sambi was in the hospital for surgery, btw, and then suddenly took a turn for the worse and died. This can certainly happen for perfectly innocent reasons, but combined with everything else....

God bless Bishop Strickland.   Maybe Archbishop Chaput of Philadelphia, and other courageous bishops will begin to add their voices to Bishop Strickland's.

Maybe the Pope is a fellow pedophle?

I believe that +Sambi had lung cancer for some time. His death was not a surprise. He was succeeded by +Vigano.

Resignation is not enough for these crimes.

The Pope and his supporting/collaborating Cardinals must be tried in a US court under RICO statutes.

It was his predecessor who had lung cancer and died of it. Sambi had some sort of lung problem, but he was not expected to die from it and his death was a surprise. As I said, it can happen, even with the most minor surgery. But then again with everything else we know now, maybe not.
