Occasional Cortez might be right.
Hopefully Trump’s tenure will educate the masses on the value of capitalism.
I think the decades of mismanagement and open borders and free trade have created a generation that is very insecure about employment and more willing to embrace socialism in hopes of stability.
And this PR twit, raised in upper middle class luxury, is in the vanguard.
——she believes progressive policies can win across the country ——
Of course they can !!!....keep believing that.
I mean progressive policies have worked so well in the past.../ S
Easy there, I’m sure you just need another cup of coffee.
But Nancy Pelosi said, that she was just one candidate in one Congressional district, and not to extrapolate from her election win that somehow the entire Democrat party is going socialist.
When I was 28 I knew enough to not spout off about politics...
Annnnnd in Venezuela...The poor just love the revolution.....Well,they did love it,when they were able to steal the money Of productive citizens.....Not loving the revolution so much anymore....I’m willing to bet they haven’t learned a thing from their misery
I view great cities as pestilential to the morals, the health and the liberties of man.— Thomas Jefferson
The Dems are going to run George McGovern against Trump in 2020.
wow, first time I’ve seen a Freeper seemingly come unhinged and becoming the grammar police to themselves! lol j/k
If I didn’t have to live under it, I’d love to see it. I’d love to see them get their socialist paradise with open borders and watch their reactions when it predictably doesn’t succeed.
They snickered when she walked onto the stage but, they laughed out loud when she spoke.
This is what they believe...In their own words.
~We are socialists because we reject an economic order based on private profit, alienated labor, gross inequalities of wealth and power, discrimination based on race, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, disability status, age, religion, and national origin, and brutality and violence in defense of the status quo. We are socialists because we share a vision of a humane social order based on popular control of resources and production, economic planning, equitable distribution, feminism, racial equality and non-oppressive relationships. We are socialists because we are developing a concrete strategy for achieving that vision, for building a majority movement that will make democratic socialism a reality in America. We believe that such a strategy must acknowledge the class structure of American society and that this class structure means that there is a basic conflict of interest between those sectors with enormous economic power and the vast majority of the population.”
...until the party bigwigs buy you a house to shut you up. :)
It’s high time to flush Ocasio-Cortez down the drain!!!!
Yeah, that's the ticket and DEMONcRAT platform that's going to fly and win across America... NOT!
“understand that we need a government that represents all of us, and not just billionaire campaign contributors.”
So sick and tired of hearing this silly and hypocritical refrain!
Dude, the Republican Party is Socialist (because they refuse to remove decades of Democrat policies - you can’t even get them to dump ZeroCare). But the Democrat Party went Socialist in the 1890s. That’s why they dumped the last Conservative Democrat President Grover Cleveland in the great purge of 1896 for the Socialists under William Jennings Bryan. They went Communist sympathizing to outright Communist from the 1930s to 1970s. Now the party is outright Stalinist-Fascist with domestic terrorist enforcers from the Auntie-FA thugs to those in the pop culture (see Robert DeNiro, Colbert, Legend, et al). These loons are only voicing openly what the Democrats have been trying to lie and cover up for for decades in the direction they’ve been taking.
The political revolution is alive and well in Kansas, Ocasio-Cortez said in the release officially announcing the trip
Yes, yes it is! Donald Trump won the election in Kansas with 56.6% of the vote. Hillary Clinton received 36.0% of the vote.
Just not a revolution in favor of progressive/socialist/communism!
