Can’t Trump just fire his sorry a$$, like he did Comey?

I agree, you do need to impeach Rod Rosenstein.

Get on it.

Impeach then can be fired. I think HR could cut him loose like they did with one of the other FBI DS.

Impeachment? Wouldn’t that take at least 10 months of so called investigations? I don’t have a lot of faith in GOP investigations with Sessions as Atty. Gen.

“Can’t Trump just fire his sorry a$$”

Apparently not. That was just the Trump persona on TV. Did people really think that was how Trump would act as President?

Except for the tweets and the redmeat rallies Trump is actually quite restrained as President. He may be waiting for Rosenstein to give him a better political opening before taking him out.

Trump is quite disciplined and thus far has not lost any political support that I can see. He is not making many mistakes either although Trump’s hiring of Sessions and then leaving him in place constitutes multiple mistakes.

He’s such an intolerable jerk, just like Strzok’s demeanor.
They both need the smirks wiped off their faces.

Guy on Hannity today said, “yes” Rosenstein can be fired for not turning over documents to Congress. There would be cause and the President has the power.

The stuff I have been reading, says he can fire Rosenstein, but it might really screw things up, so maybe he won’t. I agree, Sessions was a big mistake.
I am thinking impeachment might be a complete waste of time too. As Revolutionary says, it would take too long, and I doubt all the RINOs in the Senate, would vote to remove him, anymore than they removed slick Willie.
I assume impeachment would have to go through the Senate too, but I am not even positive of that.

Trump can fire him for any reason. I think he just wants to see if the Reublicams have any balls to reign Rosenstein in. Either he has Hillary FBIfiles on the lot of them, or they truly are worthless as legislators and need to be voted out. I call it “the Gowdy Effect!” It’s where you talk like a real badass, until someone stands up to you and dares you to do something about it. Then you see how powerful they truly are when they fold like. Cheap lawn chair

Sure. A President has the exclusive right to fire executive dept officials without the need to get anyone’s approval. Any doubt about that was removed in a 1926 SCOTUS ruling. So all the “But obstruction! Impeachment!” noise that gets constantly tossed around is a bunch of garbage. Congress can’t impeach a President for exercising a privilege that is solely his.

Too much talking. Too much “what if?” Too much fooling around. Too much taxpayer money wasted on this crap.

If this had happened in American business it would have been taken care of months ago. Government, unlike business, has no profit motive. Politicos could care less how long this takes.

But the American people have about had it. Everybody I talk to says it’s way past time for the gvt to get its rear in gear and start indicting folks. And it’s a loooong list.

I am sure you are right. It would not stop the rats 🐀 from trying, even if it never got out of the House. If I remember right, didn’t the House already have a vote on impeachment, and it was voted down pretty convincingly?
So, we will see what he does with Rosenstein. He and Strzok had such smirking looks on their faces, that needs to be wiped off, by doing the perp walk.
I just thought of something else too. Since there is no chance whatsoever, that the Hildebeast, and all the rest of her scum bag friends, will ever be held accountable, Trump should pardon Hildebeast and all those others, for all crimes committed. They will never face justice anyway, but I wonder if that would freak them out?
