funny. actually the truth is more likely that rank and file conservatives (indie and rep via melted phone/fax/email lines to their local reps) again “convinced” both the president and the house gope, that their latest clever Machiavellian manipulations (bum’s rush, secret meetings, timing, fake cover bills, etc.) to get an amnesty passed wasn’t going to work this time. this is very similar to how the ryancare bill played out.
the president didn’t kill anything. according to several reports in media and the administration, Trump supported both bills and would have signed either.
thank God the American people as individuals (ala the tea party) were again vigilant and proactive in contacting their reps and the president to tell them no on amnesty.

I have the same thoughts. Remember about three weeks, ago reports surfaced that Ryan was working on another immigration bill before the recess. I thought to myself "why the hell bring this up again before November" knowing that they probably would never give President Trump a bill he could sign.
Well - right after we get another five alarm, media inspired catastrophe at our border, this time it included children in cages and families being torn apart.
It's as though it was laid out like a business plan or military exercise - one event giving way to another to the point (or so they thought) that President Trump would have no choice but to sign whatever landed on his desk.
It didnt work and exposed the phonies in Hollywood, the MSM and politicians for who they are and what they want. Thankfully that crap don't play with this President!!
