They blinked. We'll see. The U.S. puts a 25% tariff on light trucks and SUVs, the two biggest money-makers for U.S. auto companies. Will they sit still for having that tariff removed?

Trump is absolutely correct to point out this huge discrepancy.
They hit our auto products with a 10% duty and we hit theirs with 2.5%? Crazy. No way that kind of lopsidedness should be allowed to remain.

This would be a good move. Hell will freeze over before the politicians agree to this. This should be done on all items. Let the best manufacture win. If other countries can produce it better and cheaper than us so be it with zero tariffs

zero tariff on both sides. If they can make it cheaper and better than America so be it. It means the trucks and SUV people here would have to up their game. We would win some and lose some. I would bet we would win way more than we lose. On a level field I will bet that American workers can out produce anyone.
