Not a millisecond left in the first hour to cover the Horowitz hearings or anything else. I guess 24 hours a day isn’t enough time to cover many different stories.

The local news was so slanted about this I got disgusted and walked away. They kept referring to this a a Trum policy when they know damned well it started with Clinton and continued through Obama (all of them enforced it). They also know that it is obviously a sensible policy (where else are you going to put the children of parents who are arrested and had illegally entered the US?).

They also conflate asylum seekers in this group, which are obviously not affected by this unless the parents of non-citizens are subsequently arrested.

This is a classic propaganda front and a massive contingent of Americans (including thos in elected position) are too stupid to realize it or are banking on the political capital it will likely gain them due to the former.

Why will they be talking about all morning? Because it is there agenda. It merely wasn’t their agenda when Obama was separating families and had kids in cages.

I see a lot of comments about how this is not Trump’s policy etc. And I support the administration’s stance on this to help deter people coming into the country.

But let me play Devil’s advocate for a second.

How do I argue with someone who says Trump can easily change the policy by making his own order to stop it and have the family housed together?

If he can change it, doesn’t that make Trump look like he is part of the problem and he is misleading people by saying it is a legislative issue?

Remember, I am just asking the questions here not concluding and support the present policy to deter people.
