There’s just too many of them. When I went to downtown Vancouver Canada a month ago, there were 7 within a 5 block radius which was totally nuts.
So are they trying to maintain a 50’ separation from each store. Mmmm that would actually eliminate about 10,000 stores.
But, but what about the homeless???
If any are in minority neighborhoods, hope they’ll be sued.
C’mon don’t give up. Just raise your prices and employee wages a lot more. That should stop the closings.

I wouldn’t be caught dead in a Starbucks, ordering overpriced caffeine from some snotty snowflake barrista.
McDonald’s suits me fine - McCafe drinks are tasty and reasonably priced. Dunkin’ is another possibility.
But my kitchen beats them all. I wake up each morning to a steaming mug of Typhoo or Yorkshire Gold tea, with a generous dollop of condensed milk.

I am in the MI in a nice bedroom community with all the strip type food places and family owned ones as well.
The Trump economy is smoking here, however if restaurants ( New and Old ) aren't making the margins they close down quick. Holy-moley the turnover is huge, and one that was always busy with good food closed ( one of my fav's ). I don't get it. Perhaps the underlying value of the real-estate and or the owners of said asset have grander schemes that I don't understand...
Oh no........that means 150 less public restrooms.

There needs to be a nationwide outcry. Demand they continue to operate these free pee stations. Just raise prices. Or, better yet, get taxpayer monies to subsidize their burnt coffee.

8,222 company operated stores and 5,708 licensed stores.

Hard to believe. There are still some blocks in DC that only have two.
It would be really inconvenient if I were headed in the wrong direction and had to make a U-Turn.
