A Smyrna man's good deed is inspiring people across the country and around the world.
Bilal Quintyne spotted Belinda Whitaker in need when her electric wheelchair ran out of batteries, leaving her unable to get around. She asked Quintyne if he could call for help to get her home.
Rather than call for help, Quintyne decided to lend her a helping hand by pushing her all the way home himself.
"I don't care what you're going through," he said in a video posted on Facebook that went viral.
"When God calls you for help, you're supposed to help. Period. Period."

maybe I’ve become to suspicious in my old age...that being said tho, now everyone knows the Elder can’t get around to well on her own, and probably (thanks to the news) knows now where she lives...I’d keep an eye on the news.
I’m afraid that Lady isn’t going to be around too long now.
What do you mean? Do you think that young man will return and rob her home once he ‘cases the joint’?
I’m sure the thought crossed her mind too, but she didn’t have a lot of good choices. He might really just be a nice guy. I hope so for her sake. We all want to be able to trust others. Next time, she needs to keep a cell phone in her purse. Maybe a Lady’s Pistol too.
Good on ya dude.
I sometimes have to use a walker when out in public. Additionally, even when not using the walker, I look very old. Younger people are always stopping and asking me if I need help.
It helps my spirit that there are still those in the world who look to help others.
Who was taking the picture? I hope they asked both people first. Some phone owners don’t bother to ask.
They’ll say ‘You’re in public, right? So nothing should be private.” Wrongo.
Um ... her batteries went flat.
I smell a Go Fund Me set up.
Young boys of America- This is what a strong man acts like.
I was out with my mom - she was 94 at the time. Could still get around without a cane, and smart as a whip with a better memory than mine.
I felt bad for her as the cashiers, etc. would talk to her almost like a little child while explaining something or asking if she wanted help with her cart or whatever.
I asked her if that bothered her. “Oh - heavens no! I’m just glad that they are being nice to an old lady like me!”
A very decent guy...a very decent act.Perhaps things aren’t quite as bad in this country as sometimes seems to be the case.
May the Good Lord bless this fellow.
Now that’s a good example, I don’t care what his or other people’s skin color is.
Couldn’t ask for more here, and his mention of God was very nice.
God will bless him for this.

I can hardly count how many times I have loaded up someone’s electric scooter or wheel chair to haul them home.
Certain people more than once!
Electric propulsion is very flakey at best! And the people that depend on it often have short decks.

No maybe about it!

Amen and amen! This is a man in full in the making. GOD can do lots with such men.
From movie...other side of the mountain?....tearjerker...very moving...no pun intended movie
