Yep! I lived down near Houston. I had a large generator in my shed, along with a 4-cycle weed eater, stolen from my shed.
I gave the police pictures of the items, proof of the serial numbers and pictures of where the stuff was located - in whose house it was stored - and they didn’t do SH!T!!
They told me, “If they sell it, then we will recover the items.” I said, they aren’t selling my sh!t, they are USING IT - the pictures were of them using MY WEED EATER and MY GENERATOR! I got pictures of the serial number on my generator, in their yard!! I asked, “What if I go and get my stuff back?” And I was told that I would probably be arrested for stealing, until I could prove that it was mine. I screamed and walked out of the county sheriff’s office!
NOTHING!!! It’s been six years, and I still haven’t gotten my crap back!
Maybe she’ll make a PSA discouraging young people from boosting cars?
Nah, that makes too much sense.
