Washington Post: Reporters Thought White House Video Was North Korean Propaganda
Newsbusters ^ | June 12, 2018 | P.J. Gladnick

Please watch the video below with the sound on mute. Did any of you actually think it was North Korean propaganda? Probably none of you did. And of course any person being completely truthful would also have the same opinion whether they also watched it on mute or in any other language including Korean. One dead giveaway is the satellite image of North Korea at night with almost no lights contrasted seconds later with a possible future North Korea covered in bright lights.

Despite this, Washington Post reporter Avi Selk went through the pretense on Tuesday that some reporters, upon first viewing the video in Korean, somehow thought it was North Korean propanda. And what are the chances that those same reporters are hostile to President Donald Trump? How about a 100% chance? They very well knew it wasn't North Korean propaganda but by pretending that was their impression it gave them a disingenuous outlet for their hostility.

That will have to come later. It’s going to be a very long process, if it’s successful; and the South will have a lot of input.

There’s a strong Christian presence in South Korea, and anything that Donald shepherds through would be likely to have a “religious freedom” clause.

“In all fairness, Washington post “reporters” ARE a pretty stupid lot.“

“Low IQ”, as some would say. Seriously, i believe that their SAT scores fall below those of teachers but definitely above those of basketball scolarship recipients.

“...of basketball scolarship recipients.”

Yes, I know how to spell “scholarship”. Damnable iPad.

Nobody leaked to them who made the video? Were these folks so exhausted from their travels? They went to Singapore. These sex addicts might have been busy with what or who Singapore has to offer rather than investigative journalism.

I think of it as a foot in the door, sorta like watching “Dallas” in the 1970s.

I think I recognized all of that. It was a great and persuasive production, and no doubt gave the Chairman an idea of what his country could become.

I don’t think that he’s as ignorant of the West as you believe - evidence seems to suggest that most of his education took place in Europe, and he grew up wealthy enough to acquaint himself with many things ‘Occidental’. He appears to have acquitted himself well in his meeting with our President.

(I agree that Singapore is very beautiful country - I hadn’t seen much about it until the recent news.)

I think the MSM realizes it is becoming obsolete, in large measure due to Trump. They are flailing and grasping wildly like a drowning man.

He’s seen where the North could go. He’s seen the Donald’s ride. He arrived on a China supplied plane DJT came on his plane. As the leader that takes care of his people he can walk freely with other heads of state and go down in history a North Korea’s greatest leader. It would be slow going but he’s young. We’ll see how he responds. His people could use a break.

His people could use a break.

That's the main reason I'm interested in and supporting this.

It's very difficult to accommodate some aspects; but for the People, I'm 'all in'; and I am very grateful that we finally have a President who wanted - and had the talent - to get the ball rolling.

He told them last night (early this morning) that he showed it to Kim on an iPad. BTW, Trump was very calm and hardly feisty which gave me another view of him. I could see the kind, gentle and retiring side to him. He said he hadn't slept in over 24 hours. Subdued is the right word. He seemed to be at peace.

To bring that country forward to modern times is a task that defys imagination. Then to transformer from a totally closed society to even a China-like semi-open one is another huge task. And the internal political strugles in the nork governing system without rebellion is added on. The technology and abilities are available but the desire to make it happen is the question. A very tough road to walk.

I believe that the Chairman has seen quite enough to appreciate the wealth of the Free World and to want to know and possess more; he has had wealth enough as Dictator to enjoy and learn about things that he will want more OF.

I have no illusions that he has any real interest in the welfare of his people; but in his personal status, affairs, legacy, I’m certain that he has great interest.

I don’t have a lot of faith in him as a personality; but I have considerable faith in the ongoing process and that it may eventually ‘trickle down’ to the People.
