Comedian Samantha Bee intends to address the fallout from her vulgar comment about Ivanka Trump when her show airs a new episode on Wednesday.
A TBS spokesman told CNN on Sunday that Bee will discuss the matter when her show returns, but did not provide further details. Other sources told CNN that Bee and her producers are planning an in-depth response.
The comedian sparked a firestorm when she called Ivanka Trump a "feckless c---" during a segment on her show last week about the Trump administration’s policies that separate migrant children from their families.
Bee apologized in a statement Thursday, calling her remark “inappropriate and inexcusable.”
TBS said Bee took the proper action in apologizing, but did not indicate the host would face further punishment.
President Trump on Friday questioned why Bee had not been fired for the remark. He suggested it was a double standard after ABC cancelled the sitcom "Roseanne" in the wake of a racist tweet from star Roseanne Barr.
“Why aren’t they firing no talent Samantha Bee for the horrible language used on her low ratings show?” he tweeted. “A total double standard but that’s O.K., we are Winning, and will be doing so for a long time to come!”

Decent people have to bring a boycott on TBS and all of her sponsors or prepare for more unfairness and insults. They will be emboldened if they can get away with this bs.
Show shouldn’t be returning. Barr was willing to apologize six ways from Sunday and she was still cancelled. Yet with Bee, phony apologies are considered enough.
Gosh it’s just so important I am on all pins and needle waiting with baited breath to see what happens to her...

She will state that she should not have used the c word but because Trump is such an evil bastard like all white men and Republicans she had to say something to bring attention to the plight of these poor immigrants that have no hope but to stream into America where they will make out Nation a better place down the road and how e should welcome them and drive Trump out.
