Gowdy: FBI acted properly with use of informant during 2016 campaign
The Hill ^ | 29 May 2018 | JULIA MANCHESTER

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) said Tuesday he believes the FBI acted properly with its use of an informant to speak with several members of President Trump's 2016 campaign.

"I am even more convinced that the FBI did exactly what my fellow citizens would want them to do when they got the information they got, and that it has nothing to do with Donald Trump," Gowdy said on Fox News's "The Story."

Trump fires up the crowd in TN in May of 2018 with the truth about Spygate.

Republicans keep the House in November, 2018 - at a minimum because of Spygate.

Gowdy goes out on a limb and supports Spygate in May 2018 for no apparent reason at the time. Gowdy crosses line in May 2018. What does Gowdy know and when did he know it. #Spygate

Maybe Gowdy knew about Spygate all along. What a loser if so. And why didn’t Nunes know about?

Why only certain people in Congress were made aware? Maybe Ryan and Gowdy knew about Spygate in real time.

If so, it all makes sense.

Why are there so many worthless Republican politicians from the Carolinas - Gowdy, Sanford and Graham in South Carolina; Burr and Tillis in North Carolina. I always thought people in those states had good sense, what are they doing electing these goofballs?

I anticipated the involvement of this jackass was problematic.

There is an inferiority complex from a lot of the eGOP elected officials. The first chance they get, they want to get on the MSM - including CNN. To do that they have to say something noteworthy against DT or support or give cover to the deep state.

no Dem would ever countermand the stupidity of Shummer or Shiff.

I am so upset about Goudy

He’s going to be a lobbyist soon, and many of his potential customers are Democrats.

The state GOP parties are not run well. Robin Hayes, head of GOP in North Carolina raised a lot of money for 2016, so he was re-elected as head of the NCGOP. But he is definitely GOPe. Tillis was going to side with the establishment from the beginning instead of being the conservative that people thought he would be. The side talk right away after his election was that he was a centrist and not a conservative. That is not what most people voted for. Tillis was for Rubio. It was the voters of North Carolina who were for Trump, not the party aparatchiks.

Many thought HC would win. Including Ryan and Gowdy.

Think about it. <> Brennan was caught spying on congress in 2014. He had to apologize.

Brennan threatened Ryan and McConnel a few days ago and all of a sudden Gowdy is defending Spygate.

I agree. Tip of the iceberg. Former CBS reporter Atkinson has said that SPYGATE is merely a symptom of a much larger issue, and is perhaps 2% of what has been going on.

And WHERE were the FBI agents in the Hillary campaign, rooster-hair Trey Gowdy?

How young was she, Gowdy? I guess you were really recognizable in the videos with her.

So the so called Spygate can be nothing more than a PR, but the Russiagate has led to a serious investigation and has destroyed Michael Flynn.

“...but as of now, I think Chris Wray and Rod Rosenstein are stunned whenever people think Trump is the target of their investigation,” Gowdy said.”

You mean after about a year and a half of democrats and Brennan and Clapper and the MSM saying that Trump is the target?

Why on earth would anyone think Trump was the target?

Somebody got to this idiot and they got to him fast. Of all the statements he could make, this one takes the cake for sheer brazenness in admitting Gowdy is corrupt.

It seems you have a problem separating the person from the problem. I can’t stand Gowdy, but the problem isn’t just Gowdy. As you will see (I predict), as this whole Spygate thing results in nothing.

I don’t know if you follow Conservative Tree House, but Sundance subtly said the same thing I’m saying over the weekend. Just not as directly.
