Comey is a lying POS. How will he and his cronies explain their secrecy police state to their children?
Collusion is not even a crime. All of this was a pretext to spy on the Trump campaign.

THAT is how I hope to explain it to my grandkids.
All Comey’s self serving statements assume that the FBI is a pure as Caesar’s wife, and how can you dare question it! Yet, we know this to be factually false since his number 2 man, Andy McCabe was fired for lying. That means his corruption and deceit permeated the entire foundational structure of FBI management. He ran the McCaulliff investigation and McCaulliff funded his wife! It is ridiculous conflict of interest that had gone on for a while. He slow walked the Clinton investigation. He hated Trump and Flynn and screamed it at FBI meetings. So from hard cold facts one can see the FBI has big problems.
Then you have Peter Strozk, who once famously said ‘we need an insurance policy’ about Trump winning the election, in one of his 50,000 texts to his mistress. He was thrown off the Mueller Investigation for his conduct. Strozk was counterintel - so does that mean he was running the spies into the Trump campaign? Exercising his bias and hatred for Trump?
Comey is more wrong than right, cannot trust him at all.
Comey’s like the creep who offers a kid candy to get into his van, he needs to be in jail.
They will say: When you were a wee laddy, the FBI got taken over by some traitorous crooks, one of which was James Comey. Our President, the great Donald Trump fought tooth and nail and eventually thwarted the coup and saved our democracy.
Yup. These people are experts at telling lies and hiding them as righteous indignation. But the more adamant and angry they get (for example "I did not have sex with that woman, Ms Lewinski, not a single time, Never!" said with a jabbing finger and scowly face) the more you know they are trying hard to get people to say "oh wow, really he is mad. I guess he really is telling the truth!". But knowing that they are born liars, we won't fall for it.

Grandchildren will learn that the FBI and DOJ became intently politicized organizations and SOME, not all, top DOJ and FBI staff starting thinking of themselves as the law and independent of the law; they could do what they want because they are the FBI & DOJ. When an organization keeps too many bad apples, the bad apples make the whole organization look bad. When that happens, throwing out the bad apples becomes necessary. We will have no trouble explaining that to the grandchildren.

“Gee, Grandpa! Tell me the adventure story again about how the evil cabal of Comey, Brennan, Holder, Clinton, Obama, McCabe and Strzok tried to overthrow the country and how the Rule of Law was restored.”
How will Mr. Comey explain it to his grandchildren....
