Former FBI director James Comey on Wednesday slammed President Trump's recent claims about the FBI, accusing him of “lying” about the bureau's work.
Comey’s tweets comes as Trump has intensified his attacks on the agency in recent days, claiming without evidence that the FBI placed an informant within his campaign for political purposes.
"Facts matter. The FBI’s use of Confidential Human Sources (the actual term) is tightly regulated and essential to protecting the country. Attacks on the FBI and lying about its work will do lasting damage to our country. How will Republicans explain this to their grandchildren?"
"Dangerous time when our country is led by those who will lie about anything, backed by those who will believe anything, based on information from media sources that will say anything. Americans must break out of that bubble and seek truth."

“claiming without evidence”
This is an odd phrase, but I’ve heard it multiple times when a media outlet has a “pro” Trump tidbit. It is a Main Stream Media indicator that they have colluded in how to report a story in the most negative way. He was a walkin, he was an informant...all the other nonsense. Was he an undercover paid provacateur from the FBI? Did he actively come with an agenda from the FBI? Was he paid by the FBI? Did this violate the Hatch Act (at the very least)? Did they hide this and try to do parallel construction to make the case? Does Mueller know about any of this either before during or after? Does he have to recuse himself? If he has not started to investigate this aspect, is he in violation and involved in malicious prosecution?

1000x more reasons for the FBI to have spies in the Hillary campaign but that didn’t happen. The Clinton Foundation received 100s of millions of dollars from Russians. Comey needs to be in jail.

How soon are we going to see claims made that the FBI also planted a “spy” in the Clinton campaign to protect it from Russian spies as well. This will definitely require tons of popcorn to see these folks spin that tall tale!

Mr. Comey I will explain to my grandchildren that there used to be an FBI but a corrupt politician in bed with other corrupt politicians ruined any credibility they had. Thus they were dismantled.
