WaPo is now reporting that Halper is the informant. I think that’s a clue that there is more to this story than we know. I would not be surprised at this point if Carter Page turned out to be a plant.
Afterall, he was stationed in Moscow as the branch manager at Merrill Lynch. What better cover for a spy? Then he comes home and suddenly finds himself in the middle of a counter-espionage investigation that leads to the expulsion of a Russian diplomat and the arrest of a Russian spy. But he is not touched. Then he again suddenly surfaces as a volunteer in the Trump campaign at precisely the moment that the FBI is looking for an infiltrator, yet again, he is not touched. The news that he met with Halper and that he traveled to Moscow and the fact that he’s mentioned in the GPS dossier don’t deter me. Those “facts” could all be red-herrings intended to give him cover.
A pure democracy always fails. A Constitutional Republic may survive.

President Trump came into office with the DOJ and FBI actively working against him. And don’t forget the 24/7 hate fest by the media and the entertainment industry.
If he had tried to do anything in the beginning he would have been destroyed.
I think President Trump knew about all this from the beginning. The question was, how to get it all out into public view? His use of Twitter is brilliant. He tweets something, the left goes insane, the media denies it all, and then later the truth leaks out.
It is all about timing. Strike too soon and they skate. So President Trump is allowing the public time to grasp just how bad the Democrats have become.
The entire Mueller investigation is bringing out nothing but bad news for the Democrats. When all is said and done, it will be shown that the Democrats should have shut up, accept the loss, and wait for the next election. Now it is too late. The wheels of justice grind slow, but also very fine.
People will be going to jail, it is just a matter who makes the deal first.
And the cherry on top of all this good news is that President Trump is able to get most of his agenda done. Sure there is more to do, but we have won things that would not have been possible without President Trump.
So if it makes you feel better by believing nothing as changed in the world, go right ahead. Me, I think we are seeing major changes in our nation, most good.

I think it’s part of a leftist effort, through narrative, to fundamentally change the USA to a democracy, this mob-rule majority wins. Freedom of worship they use, bs freedom of religion is another.
I’m afraid that you’re correct Ann. Who will prosecute these criminals? The IG doesn’t have that power and you can bet that Rosenstein will thwart every attempt by Congress to act. Sessions is recused from everything so we’re left with the old mantra..mistakes were made. My only hope is that President Trump is so “ticked off” that he finds a way to “hang” the whole bunch.
He may be impaled yet.
Better though would be hanged with his fellow plotters.
