An hour or two ago, President Trump announced that he is ordering the Department of Justice to investigate the FBI/CIA cabal against him:
This should be the first of several orders to DOJ and the FBI. Trump should also order them to respond fully to all requests for information and documents that have been submitted by Congress, and he should fire (or have the Attorney General fire) anyone responsible for such responses who does not act within 30 days.
I guess we will find out, now, whether the President runs the Department of Justice, as the Constitution provides, or whether the Deep State has successfully declared its independence from the voters.
UPDATE: So far, so good: Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein says that DOJ will proceed with the investigation. As, of course, it should and must:

BS. He only said they are going to have an inspector look at it, which is not a prosecutor, much less a special counsel. An inspector that also has no jurisdiction outside current employees of the DOJ. This is a total sham by Rosenstein and proves he has no interest in equally applying the law, since he appointed a special counsel to investigate Trump and they immediately statred arresting people when the shoe was on the other foot.

They will attempt to do so at their peril, because now that Trump has made his move, I don’t think he will not couch any screwing around. I think there was some info to the fact that both Sessions and Rosenschmeckel have been to the White House recently, and my bet is that Trump laid it all out for these two worthless a$$holes that this was his direction and they had better move and move quickly. If they didn’t like his “tune,” I think they would have already raised a stink about resigning.

Rosenstein's statement is a joke. There are no reasons that Trump should have been spied on. They spied on him for over a year. Rosenstein signed the FISA warrant. Rosenstein needs to go.
This is the problem, an IG is slow and no authority as most of the culprits are no longer working for the government. This needs a special counsel, as well because it is so politically charged. This is Watergate level, worse because it is use of federal agencies to do the spying.
Watergate was nixon loyalist pulling a second rate burglary. Not the cia, fbi, nsa, and all the other alphabet azzholes using our tax money and technology to get a broom riding crook hag elected. We need a reckoning.

Trump should declare that there will be no more Form 302. All FBI interviews will henceforth be recorded on audio and video.
Even in the old days, it was wrong for them to declare that the mere word of an FBI agent was to be considered as reliable as a recording. Now that we have a better idea what kind of people they actually are, it’s a sick joke.
