I used to be a doubter who would cringe, just a little, at any mention of “the deep state.” I admit it, it all seemed a little far-fetched to me that there was this cabal of careerists conspiring from within the government to harm President Donald Trump when I first heard it. I never doubted there were individuals doing it, but a wide net of conspirators seemed like something out of a bad movie more than anything that could actually happen in the United States. I was wrong, very wrong, the deep state is real. But there is much more than just this small group of powerful people working toward a common goal, there is an entire infrastructure created by the left not only to destroy Trump, but to indoctrinate unsuspecting Americans into their agenda.
As the curtain is pulled back on the Obama administration’s unprecedented efforts to spy on the Trump campaign, there is a good possibility many of the perpetrators could face criminal charges, or at least should. But it’s important to understand that liberals didn’t just create this out of the blue in 2016, it’s the culmination of everything they’ve worked toward for decades.
The infrastructure they used to spy on the Trump campaign was something inherently governmental, simply planting a mole in the campaign couldn’t tap phones or access emails. But the ability to cover up that fact requires a level of media complicity that takes time to create.
Getting the desired message out is only part of the battle, it has to be believed by a significant percentage of the public for it to really matter. Conditioning the public to be receptive to that message, without questioning how it came about or why they should care required subtle indoctrination over a lifetime.
As it stands, liberals have that infrastructure in place, they had that support system ready to go. And, not to get all Scooby-Doo on you, they would’ve gotten away with it were it not for the existence of conservative media.
The Rush Limbaughs, Matt Drudges, Sean Hannitys and Tucker Carlsons, Townhalls, Daily Callers, Free Beacons, and Washington Examiners of the world questioning the official story, even when it seemed crazy to do so, is helping to expose what was done in the case of the Trump campaign. But there’s so much more that needs to be exposed, like how this could happen and why so many people were eager to believe it in the first place.
That the media is in the tank for liberals is as shocking as the sun rising in the east, how they find a receptive audience is the real problem. An educated and skeptical public wouldn’t have so many people who so easily swallow the liberal’s hook, let alone the line and sinker.
But liberals have conditioned people to accept what they’re told through a corrupt public education system that offers political spin as fact and focus the idea liberal thought as “tolerant.”
Through so-called experts, elevated by simply putting them on TV and giving them impressive sounding titles like “analyst” or “strategist,” the public can be led to believe just about anything. After all, to be an “expert” on TV means you have expertise, right? Not even close.
And lurking, always there, is Hollywood, churning out “message movies” and “documentaries” that would make Leni Riefenstahl blush over their blatant propaganda value. Take a look at the documentary offerings on Netflix and you’ll see stories about how climate change is going to kill us all, our food is poisoned, businesses and private property are evil, only surpassed by Republicans corruption and the granddaddy of them all – how Donald Trump is history’s greatest monster.
It reminds me of the old saying, “You can’t buy that kind of publicity.” But you can, or at least you can manufacture it.
The deep state is real, but it does not exist in a vacuum. In my new book, “Outrage, INC: How the Liberal Mob Ruined Science, Journalism, and Hollywood,” I explain how not just government, but nearly every aspect of public life has been corrupted, in ways both obvious and subtle, to serve the liberal agenda.
None of this is by accident, and it didn’t start on November 8, 2016, it just sprang into action. Nearly every aspect of life, to one degree or another, has been or is ready to be weaponized against anyone who dares to stand up to the liberal agenda. And none have stood up to it in a more threatening way than Donald Trump.
But the clock is ticking, the fuse is burning down low. As this aspect of the deep state starts to crumble, it’s important to remember it’s just one small piece of a much larger puzzle. There are other, bigger and equally dangerous parts in need of exposure and destruction. Learn about them all before it’s too late so we can destroy the whole deep state and the machine that feeds it, once and for all.
I have watched the deep state growing since the sixties. It is real alright.
It has been growing and festering since the time of Woodrow Wilson.
I have a small disagreement with the author. The media IS NOT “COMPLICIT.” It is an INTEGRAL COMPONENT of the system!
Bigger than I know? Probably. Bigger than I expected? Not a chance.
I wish he wasn’t pushing his book so hard because this is an excellent piece all around.
And the big question that I have is just how long has this been going on. I’d love to see someone ask Romney if he ever felt that Obama knew every move he was making. When did it start? Was Reagan subject to it, the Bush’s?
Something THIS BAD doesn’t begin in June 2016 at Starbucks, it has to go back decades...and simply keeps building. What did they have on Bush Jr. to force him not to investigate ANYTHING that Clinton did? Nothing.
What I’ve noticed over the years is that politicians in general are beholden to lobbyists, and special interests, forsaking constituents in order to line their pockets and bolster their financial portfolio’s.
Is Trump a politician? Perhaps not. And that is refreshing.

Reminds me of when I dated a gal in home economics. She asked me if I knew why emerald green was the popular color that that spring. Being a farm kid I said I didn’t. She explained to me :
The color was picked by committee 3 or 4 years ago. Then the dye experts and production began. The cloth manufactures began, designers, retail, marktet, etc.......
The color committee didn’t see themselves as conspiratrs, they were doing a task, a small innocuous task. No one in the system questioned why. Multiple committees and individuals did their jobs with out asking why.
So what is the solution? Tear down the system and build from scratch with a clear mission,but over time it will also have mission creep.....................

I believe the President is going to hit back very hard at his own choosing.
Overwhelmingly, anyone receiving government funds will support that government even if is is legitimate (veterans, social security recipients, police/fire/EMT).
None (almost) may enter politics without paying homage and expressing servitude to the Education Leviathan - the creators of "thought".
A government of this size will always oppress the citizenry.
They will never rest, with trump we have a ray of sunshine that will soon be covered with storm clouds once again. Like the mafia they incorporate willing and unwilling participants on the republican side so as to legitimize their quest and keep them on the you owe me side of things. If they refuse they have the goods on them to destroy them, judge Roberts, Lindsey graham come to mind. If we don’t follow up and prosecute those who committed crimes and break this up it will be back again and this time they will follow thru
The real reason no one will go to jail is that if we locked up everyone who assisted in the crimes of the Kenyanesian Usurpation by not opposing that violation of the Constitution we would not have anyone to do the prosecuting.
Almost everyone in the District of Corruption is complicit.
Not one of our elected or appointed stood up for the Constitution.
Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen.
His father was a foreign national which made him a British subject at birth. That makes him not naturally an American.
People with multiple citizenships, loyalties, allegiances were precisely who the founders were excluding from the office with the natural born citizen requirement.
It means you are naturally a citizen because the circumstances of your birth leave no other option and require no action of law.
Born here of citizen parents.
Hmmm??? “Deep State Swamp” is bigger than we know... but so far seemingly impotent. In spite of the stackest electoral deck in history Trump still won, and (so far) continues to prevail, “Grand Inquisitor” Herr Mueller’s (aka: Inspector Javert) best efforts have yet to land a solid punch.
Maybe the “Swamp” and their media “Lewinskys” are not as powerful as they think they are? He and his tweets have driven these (misnamed) “Progressives” to insanity... how else to explain the DemWits/Media inexplicable defense of MS-13 (re: “animals” comment), when there’s Twitter evidence of their own (CNN’s Ana Navarro) calling Trump “animal” notso long ago (10/9/2016)?
The Deep State existed before, but GHW Bush put it on steroids.
There is a reason the GOP has actively worked to prevent US from stopping the illegal alien inundation.
Actually since Teddy Roosevelt, he pioneered abuse of executive orders. The reality is the 16th and 17th amendments are the foundation of the deep state along with the Federal Reserve

I understand that men who lived through WW II, especially if they were able to smell the gunpowder and see their friends die, could be convinced that a) we should never do it again and b) that some sort of globalized system could prevent it.
But there has been a parallel, secret government since 1945, which has fixed elections, killed a President, drove another one from office, and finally got control of both parties to the point that it didn’t matter who got elected.
All this in service of replacing the sovereignty of the People of the United States with a regime of “international law” and a global economy.
And then, in 2016, we f***ed it up, and they’re furious.
