The National Weather Service has issued an ashfall advisory after radar showed the massive plume.

Hawaii Volcano Observatory officials confirmed that there was an explosive eruption, but still have yet to assess whether it was a steam-driven explosion that they have been warning residents about for several days.

Iceland was much bigger.
Also they were worried it could have tripped off one of the dormant volcanoes there in Iceland considered the most dangerous.

Hey, they just need to plant a few more trees, and all will be well. That’s their state’s new “combat climate change” policy.

"Look at the Dumb Asses."

Isn't that the last thing the Pompeiians saw in 79 A.D.? Watch out for the pyroclastic flow.

If you look at previous posts on a couple of sites there are maps of the area along with where the fissures are.

That looks like the smallest volcano on the island. Of course, it could become the biggest.

This is just the beginning of the beginning of the end. Only God knows what will follow. . . He is in charge of everything including our next breath. The United States of America would do well to repent. Our track record has been a dismal failure.

It is the smallest and the only active volcano on the island. It’s been flowing continuously for years now. It only makes the news when it changes directions and takes out houses. I think the last time it happened was in 1990 when the lava took out Kalapana. They started rebuilding on that lava flow years ago.

Someone needs to Photoshop a “Save the Ozone” lettering on his shirt and a Algore sponsored “stop Greenhouse gases” on that White sign next to the Tree.

I went to the little museum across the highway from that eruption - the family who had their farm covered up by ashes literally had to decide whether to dig it out or not. So much ash it required bulldozers and other heavy equipment. Really astounding that it looks so pretty now.
