If I remember it right, I think bears put on a lot of weight (fat) in the summer and fall, because game is scarce in the winter, especially for plant eaters. They use this stored fat to last them through the winter. Since there was no other food available in the winter, they would sleep, and live off the stored fat.
IF the “global warming” were to be true, then, it will just give them more time to gather good food, and they would go right on. I don’t think bears would have any knowledge of the liberal scam of “global warming”, so they just do, what they have to do. If it’s warm, they hunt, eat, and make little bears. If it’s cold, they sleep.
IF this article was supposed to jar us all in to believing in “global warming”, it has missed its mark.

I’m thinking this is good for bears? The only reason they sleep as long as they do is because there is no food. An earlier spring and a later fall means more time to eat.
They could watch kimmel or colbear on late nite.
