Learn a lesson from the bears.
ADAPT or die!
Don’t try to change the climate (impossible). Learn to live with the climate you have or MOVE.
I learned long ago that when people get older they don’t tolerate the cold weather as well, so they would move to Florida. They adapted. They didn’t DEMAND “climate change”.
Ages ago people discovered a new green land where no one lived. They settled there raising crops and livestock for several generations. Then the “climate changed”. Well, sort of. The climate went back to how it had been for centuries. Life there became intolerable. The people left or died. “Adapt or die”.
The ice is melting. The Polar Bears are starving. No they are not. They are adapting. Bears need yuge amounts of meat to survive, everybody knows that.
Well, there are bears that survive (thrive) by eating MOTHS! That’s right MOTHS! Why you ask? Because that’s what there is to eat where they live. “Adapt or die”.
Whitetail Deer breed in the fall, give birth in the spring, everybody knows that.
EXCEPT, at the equator deer give birth year round.

Record Cold and Snow Contribute to One of Worst Starts to April in Midwest, Northern Plains

Good thing the Dutch decided to battle the sea using dykes instead of giving up. Modern day adapting is sooooooo hard.
Yep. They explained to us when we visited Yellowstone that a well-fed bear was happy to stay awake all winter long, no matter the temperature.
The obvious solution is to air condition bear dens.
I’m always confused whether “warming” has started or if it’s prediced for sometime in the future. Whatever is going on, it hasn’t seemed to have confused the swallows who come and go where I work. The all come on one day and then they all go at once in the fall. They showed up this year on April 26 as they have since I started to observe them, which is at least the past three years.

This has been a cold long winter...
Are the people of the New York Times so insulated from reality they can’t look outside or check a thermometer?
Thermometers are for deniers.
The planet has exhibited a self-correcting climatic system for billions of years. Animals adapt or go extinct, through rotating ice ages and tropical periods. Humans gripe and attempt control of that which can’t be controlled. Some humans dither over climate change and demand a static climate, an impossibility.
Well, this past winter in Minnesota began the last full week of October and only ended the third week in April. That was a mighty long hibernation for the bears, and they may have run out of bodily fuel over 6 months!
Black bears survive in Florida just fine.
Two hundred percent normal snowpack above Lake Yellowstone in the park.
global warming - now even bears are tired!
Oh will mankind’s sins against angry Mother Gaia never cease?!
How many degrees have we warmed over the last 20 years? Some will argue almost none. At best it is a fractional change higher, THIS is what they’re talking about and claim they can see statistically significant changes in bear behavior.
BS. What did they do, track 5 bears? Where one of them had a problem and then built it into the average? ...all about the details of the data.
On my one day sample of weather, it’s raining, so it must rain every day. Idiotic.
Next thing you know...
Yogi? You awake already and getting into trouble with the ranger?
Oh no! Bears getting into trouble when they are supposed to be sleeping! Lets pay for midnight bear basketball.
They sneak out and congregate near a 7/11 down the road.
