Trump will be criticized in the media for one allegations or another. The turmoil “the media” has created over Stormy Daniels’ allegations is making “the media” look increasingly more shallow. This is working in Trump’s favor.

I agree about the self-inflicted nature of some of the coverage. When you are in a hole, stop digging.

The problem with Cruz and those rumors (I don’t know whether they were true or not) was that he positioned himself as a holier-than-thou type of politician with his “New York values” crap. He was so dumb as to run that remark in NYC in the middle of Rush Limbaugh’s show! Trump never claimed to be a saint.
