“What’s funny?” yells victim’s mother in court at smiling teen accused of killing her 3-year-old so

Deputies had to restrain the mother of a 3-year-old boy Friday when the 15-year-old boy accused of killing him appeared to smirk while waiting for his bond hearing to start.

“What’s funny? What’s funny?” yelled Roshanda Craig, as deputies rushed to separate members of the victim’s family and the defendant’s family.

Christopher Cullins, 15, an eighth grade student at Sylvan Hills Middle School, was arrested at his school 10 days after the April 1 shooting that claimed the life of 3-year-old T’Rhigi Craig. Cullins is charged as an adult with murder.

The little boy was asleep in the backseat of his mother’s SUV when he was struck by a bullet meant for someone else, police said.

According to detectives, it all started when some people in cars drove past a gas station at the intersection of Bouldercrest and Eastland roads and fired paintball guns at customers.

Cullins and his family happened to be at the gas station. Cullins, furious about being struck by a paintball, grabbed his cousin’s gun, according to police, and fired at least one shot toward the cars where the paintball fire originated. The bullet missed the people who fired the paintball guns and instead struck the boy, killing him.

If he started at 6 he would be 14 in the 8th grade.

...... and now we have 15 year olds in 8th grade.

My grandsons in the 4th and 5th grade have probably learned more than he has.

Bad blood, bad genes, damaged goods and a worthless sack of shit that never will amount to s damn thing. He will be a burden and a danger to others for the rest of his useless life. The only useful thing to do with him is to make dog food and the dogs probably wouldn’t even eat it so just feed his carcass to the hogs.

These are the best outcomes we could have but we will get far less than this. Someone will try to “save” him and “reform” him and waste their time and our money adding to the Trillions that have already gone down the drain for the likes of this vermin creature. I can hear it now, “If we can save just one it will make all the effort and money worthwhile.” The fools don’t understand that they save themselves or they are not saved at all. These animals are just a bad investment.

I graduated High School at 17 like most of my Classmates.

Eight Grade is full of 13 Year Olds unless things have changed since I was young.

Remand the killer to the custody of Roshanda Craig for a few hours. Bury whatever is left.

uncalled for... how do you know what is likely...Cant you just feel for the family and the loss of a young innocent life... How would you like it if your kid was killed in such a random evil event by human refuge and some one said will that three year old is likely to be piece of garbage and kill another....suggestion examine yourself and what you decided to share because in my opinion it is complete garbage

Poor Christopher Cullins. Another misguided child. A victim of society. Unfortunately not an anomaly.

“Only a lad. You really can’t blame him.”
“Only a lad. Society made him.”
“Only a lad. He’s our responsibility.”
Oh, oh, oohh oh oh oh
“Only a lad. He really couldn’t help it.”
“Only a lad. He didn’t want to do it.”
“Only a lad. He’s underprivileged and abused.”
Perhaps a little bit confused?

I graduated high school at 17.

So did I and I didn't turn 18 until halfway through my 1st year in college.

Beat me to it. I mean, it’s sad, no question. But with a name like that, the 3 year old was not likely to become the next great American success story.

15 and being in the eight grade means he is an idiot who repeated at least one grade.

It’s a fair court. But society’s to blame.

O.K. We’ll go arrest them.

“The mom with the three yr old in the back seat was an innocent bystander.”

On the other hand, if I hear someone named her kid “T’Rhigi,” “INNOCENT” IS not the epithet that immediately comes to mind.
