There’s been a lot of movement on the legal front concerning President Trump and Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Last night, The Washington Post reported that there was a tense meeting between the president’s lawyers and Mueller in which Trump’s legal team said there was no obligation for them to arrange time for questions from investigators. Mueller politely reminded them that he could just subpoena the president. Now, we have reports that former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who joined the president’s legal team last month, said Trump could be sitting down with the Mueller investigation to answer questions for a two-to-three hour period.

UPDATE: Daily Beast reports that a longtime D.C. lawyer who has known Emmet Flood, Trump’s newest attorney, told them that there isn’t the slightest change he would allow this interview with Mueller to proceed

That was exactly my thought, that Trump has something planned if he’s going to talke to Mueller.
He thinks highly of himself..and he’s sure of himself... and he talks a lot..
I trust Trump.. I don’t trust any of the rest... and Trump is no lawyer... they are educated to use their minds and the minds of their subject! To twist and turn anything and everything ... and in this case, mueller has ONE... ONE.. objection... to get Trump!!
I have a strange feeling that Trump is setting up Mueller by sitting for the interview. Mueller will ask the first question and before Trump answers, his attorney will say something to the effect of “Mr. Mueller, you just violated (insert something here) and we will not answer any further questions, but you will be held legally accountable for the mess you caused.”
I trust Trump. It's the sleazy no good sack of shit lawyers I worry about.

Don’t do it! But if you do, every answer should be: “I do not recall.”
It doesn’t really matter at this point in the game(coup). Mueller is going to issue a ‘report’ to congress. A long laundry list of crimes and obstruction of justice in order to give a fig leaf to the rinos and neverTrumpers in the Repuki party to pull that impeachment lever. He will and they will.

I don’t like giving in to the enemy... I don’t like for it to even look like giving in.. i’d rather take the bull by the horns and sit there long enough to inform mueller he has no right to question the President.... “do you know I am in the seat you only wish you could be”... and “you are fired”!
Relevant written questions only. Keep it simple. Thereafter, if Mueller wants to file charges, go for it. Declare this is witch hunt based on lies, will simply plead 5th amendment. If Mueller really thinks there is a prosecutable crime, let him make the case.
This morning Victoria Toensing said he would have to crawl over her as she stood in the doorway. No way would she let Trump answer any of Mueller’s questions.
Or..... Dirt Bag Mueller submits his questions in writing and POTUS attorneys submit answers in writing—that is, the ones they decide to respond to.
No face to face conversations, Mueller will absolutely try to set a perjury trap.

If anything, I think that’s exactly what they’re angling for here. Mueller sends written questions to Trump, and Trump sends written responses ... but only after he first reads the questions and his answers on national television. LOL.
