I think the peace committee will undoubtedly give the award to Kim and the South Korean President. That will sit fine with the intellectual crowd. So the ceremony will occur, where both are given a 20-minute chance each to talk about what occurred, and I can just imagine Kim standing there and saying....”...truly, a great deal of this award ought to go to my good friend...Donald”.

Then he’ll go on for a minute talking about the friendship he started with Donald and phone exchanges.

You can imagine the intellectual crowd in the great hall...simmering through this pro-Trump chatter by Kim.

For most mere mortals, Korean peace would be a lifetime achievement. You could retire and coast on that for the rest of your life. President Trump got it done in a little over a year while facing massive constant resistance.

It’s an opinion piece.

Ending the war would make this an attractive place to visit or perhaps retire to; especially for military retirees, at least until they closed the base BX’s and hospitals.

Do you think that major, large circulation newspapers just allow anyone to vent their spleen in an opinion column? Or are they carefully selected? If it’s (b) why do you think they did this?

PX, not BX in most cases. Korea is mostly an Army assignment, with some Air Force and a few Navy and Marine Corps people.

Exactly. Trump is doing a great job, but let's get a deal first. Then lets see if it is a lasting deal. Then we can hand out prizes.

Bah. The Nobel Peace Prize became just another participation trophy when they gave it to Obama just for being sworn in.

This thing called the Nobel Peace Prize would tarnish the President, put him in the same category as Barack Obama, Al Gore, Yassar Arafat, etc.

I would stand, clap, and cheer if the President refused it.

Or it would redeem it and make the peace prize great again. It’s worth it just to see POTUS’s acceptance speech as he reminds everyone who really got it done.

President Trump should reject membership in any club that has Arafat and Obama as members.

Besides the liberal heads exploding at the mere thought of it...

IF it were to happen I would recommend PDJT to decline it. It would just put him alongside those like Obama. The award is a joke and should be exposed as such.

Maybe USA Today realizes how tainted the Nobel is these days - why would Trump want to joins the commies/terrorists/sleaze-balls that have wonbeen awarded it in recent decades?
