Roseanne Barr said Sunday that she thanked President Trump for moving the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem during a phone call with the president.
"I said, 'Mr. President, on behalf of my mother, I want to thank you ... for moving the embassy to Jerusalem. Thank you so much,'" Barr said at The Jerusalem Post's annual conference in New York. "And he said, 'Well, you know a lot of presidents have promised it, but I wanted to get it done.'"
"I think it's the first step to peace in the world, I really do," added Barr.
Trump announced late last year that the U.S. would formally recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The relocated embassy is scheduled to open next month.

Obama’s spokesman would not even answer a question about Israel’s capital.
Someone at a press conference asked him “What city does the USA recognize as the capitol of Israel” and he said “I think you know our answer on that” and “we’ve already discussed this” and “i believe I’ve answered your question” and never actually answered it.
The reporter - to his credit- kept it up for like 5 brutal minutes- and even said “it would take you less time to just name the city, than you have spent giving me your non-answers... just tell me what city is the capitol?” and he still refused to answer.

Despite her generally leftist views, Barr voiced her support for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in a June 2016 The Hollywood Reporter interview. “I think we would be so lucky if Trump won. Because then it wouldn’t be Hillary.”
A July CNN story reported that she did not endorse Trump as she only supports herself for president—”I will be writing myself in in every election from now until I win.” However, in a now-deleted tweet to The Jerusalem Post, Barr revealed she voted for Trump.

Don’t understand your thought process there. She supported him early in the campaign, mostly because he wasn’t Hillary, as did a lot of other people.
They were concerned because, until this move, it was clear that they had the US moving in the direction of the end of the world for all Jews.
