The annual White House Association Correspondents’ Dinner was held in Washington, DC last night. President Trump opted to skip the event for the second year in a row. Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and several other White House officials represented him in his place. While humor was expected from the speakers at the dinner, some viewers felt that comedian Michelle Wolf’s jokes targeting Huckabee Sanders went too far. Conservatives and liberals alike lambasted Wolf for her attempts at be being funny. Perhaps The strongest condemnation of all came from MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski.
Brzezinski, who is no fan of the administration, thought Wolf’s jokes making fun Huckabee Sanders appearance were mean spirited and “deplorable.” She called on the White House Correspondents' Association to issue an apology.

Brzezinski is referencing President Trump's last July that said she had shown up badly to his Mar-a-Lago estate one New Years Eve and was bleeding badly from the face.

American Conservative union president Matt Schlapp and his wife walked out of the event over these jokes.

Of course critics could argue that for years on end conservatives have been saying that society is too concerned with political correctness. Therefore, they might say, people should not take offense to the comments. However, many would respond that there is a difference between being funny and being rude.

I expect to see her Colbert’s Show this week. (well, I won’t actually be seeing her on his Show since I never watch), but she will be there. Then off to Kimmel’s Show in LA.

Sarah Sanders should have stood up and walked out. There is no reason for her to dignify this trash and their trashy behavior with her presence, and she should have made this clear.
The white-knighting by the liberal media is almost as ridiculous as the insults.
They encourage comedians to go over the line and then they’re all “Oh, my goodness! What a deplorable thing to say! This is really going too far, Ah dooo declare!”
Those in attendance at this trashy display of filth have sunk to the level of pornography. One must expect that the morals of these lowlifes are as trashy as their taste.
Kellyanne Conway, Sarah Sanders and the entire group from the Trump administration should have all stood up together and marched out when this ginger piglet started dumping her filth on them.
If these people had a modicum of honesty or self-respect, they would cringe at the trash they have become.
It is understandable why honest, decent people hold the once-admirable US press in utter contempt.

Worse is that the journalist stood for this at all!... as she went well beyond, and then some more. Which of course because they were instead entertained by her only evidences they belong in the sewer with her.
Was glad to hear some of the administration staff walked out....it was beyond difficult to listen to.

I saw some polite smiles from invitees in the front row, a chuckle here and there, but even they were not slapping their knees.
I know the MSM is gushing over how it was the most humorous, rolling on the floor good time had by all, laugh- fest.
The actual footage tells a very different story.
Even the liberals were uncomfortable.
And for good reason.
Foul language, for no reason except for the shock value is the mark of a very lazy, unfunny person.
She didn’t have parents.
She just fell out of the Ugly Tree and hit every branch on the way down.
