Maybe they’ve been finding out that the “gold” shackles of welfare and even AA are more like cheap brass plate. With friends like Democrats, do they need enemies?
I don’t know how much is legit or how much is just smart PR stunt (as in “there’s no headlines in a musician saying he hates Trump but if I say I love Trump, wow, front page everywhere!”) but either way, it’s a win for the good guys.

I have to be careful as I have suffered so much at the hands of such people—I won’t give the details.
The GOP wastes its precious resources, time, and the goodwill of its base when it tries to go along with the Karl Rove theory of tiny bits of each voting bloc being added to GOP’s total votes. Reality: millions of Trump voters were ones who stayed home for Romney,McCain,Bush,et al but now came out to register and vote. Don’t lose them on silly pandering to blacks who hate Trump and us. For every wonderful Diamond & Silk there are twenty BLM ones who want cops killed.
There’s going to need to be mass disillusionment of the “black vote” with the Democrat party.
I don’t rule it out, it could well happen. The flies will have to be repulsed from the vinegar before they will pay attention to the honey.

Every election I see blacks with these hand outs given to them at their church that are a “copy” of the ballot filled out exactly how their massah’s want them to be filled out.
But a good “what in hell have you really done for us, Democrats” song or two, and the meme might get rolling.
This is a factor that’s hard, but not impossible, to counter... I’ve seen some pretty otherwise orthodox black Baptist preaching feel like it just has to use Donald Trump as the bad example. During the weeks I sojourned there, I resisted the urge to groan, but I know the Holy Spirit groaned.
I’d like to tell the brothas and sistas that they can find more spiritual sanity at the Salvation Army, even, than in those politically pickled places.

Sadly, black people *are* a monolith. During the run-up to every election there’s chatter that this is the election that there will be a black breakout and a realignment. Never happens. Black Swamp leadership through shaming and intimidation keeps them nice and tight on the reservation. And, that will not will change in the foreseeable future....

No politician or even talking head is pandering to anybody here. We are witnessing a cry for Freedom from a population in dire need of it. We know the answer. But we know they don't trust us, in recent decades.
Honest history lessons is what will eventually turn many minds, I believe. So many have never heard it told. We will do well to at least not give them additional reasons to distrust that we are Christian and Freedom minded. During the time it takes for some to emerge from cultural suffocation.
If black people ever woke up to how the DEMOCRATS have RUINED their lives....broken families with no fathers anywhere to be found....HORRIBLE schools teaching them NOTHING VALUABLE except VICTIMHOOD......DANGEROUSNeighborhoods.....etc.......IF they wake up to this fact, the Democrats will be swinging g from trees!

They got 93% in 2016. So you are expecting them to improve by 4 percentage points?
If the GOP were to get as little as 15% the Democrats would be in very serious trouble. That should be doable.
The thing is, before Trump became political, and namely, a Republican, most black people genuinely liked him. You never heard anyone even suggest that he was racist.
