I believe Massachusetts expats infected New Hampshire.
“What the hell is a spinning class anyway?”
A fancy term for riding a stationary bike in a low gear.
Real bicyclist complain about it because to a REAL cyclist spinning is the term used to describe pedal cadence. (i.e. Bicyclist that know what they’re doing maintain a cadence of at least 85 rpm per foot)
Democrats took over the NV legislature in 2016.
Clark County is now D enough that Hillary easily carried the Silver State.
Its been Californicated.
They couldn't make socialism work well in their city so they're going to 'try-again-and-get-it-right-this-time' in yours.
“Wow. Thats us. We are moving to the deep south from...Manhattan. But we promise to never, ever vote for a Dem or for high taxes or for a sanctuary state or town.”
O.K. Welcome and come on down.
If you get here by April 26 stop by the house and join us in celebrating Confederate Memorial Day.
This clueless writer is paying so much because NYC is in so much demand. As is Boston. And San Fran. And DC.
Now, some other, more dangerous and less appealing Democrat cities are clearly in decline.
See Austin...
Others don’t bother to move at all to NH. They continue to reside in Mass while voting in NH.
That’s one way of looking at it.
On the other hand Manhattan is the center of the world (so to speak), like Rome was back in the day.
Plenty of other places to live and lead a satisfying life, but there’s only one New York.
Some are willing to pay for what NYC offers.
I’m not totally familiar with Manhattan. But know some family and friends who have moved there. And they seek to live on the upper east side, upper west side, Central Park West, and Greenwich village.
The other boroughs of NYC are more affordable, but some people want to pay a premium price to be in a trendy area. This happens in all cities. And it’s just supply and demand at work.
What a shame!
Guess I’m behind the times. Last I knew that was one of the last places one could truly be free (Constitutionally speaking).
Am I the only one..
$200 every month for a gym with clean showers,
$3,000 in rent every month for an apartment without cockroaches $8 every morning for a cup of coffee
I don’t know but you are a fool.
They are bringing their socialist ideals and infiltrating our God believing, conservative communities. If you can’t become one of us, then don’t come.
Guess how much fun it is being a white person in the minority parts of the city.
These people live in Manhattan because that’s the only place you can live in NYC and have a majority white neighborhood, without being far enough out that you may as well live in Nassau or Westchester instead.
Oh sorry... I thought this was a thread about cancer /s
We have been running a quasi-open borders policy since The Swimmer led the fight to "reform" immigration in the 60's. We are on track to double the population every 50 years. That's why the suburbs and exurbs are densifying. The "native" population, excluding first and second generation immigrants, is at or below replacement rate.
us too. Moving from upstate NY where our conservative vote doesn’t count anyway to TN in five years, the Good Lord willing.
30 years in California headed home to Austin, local politics not much better but the state is in good shape.
Big hair, big cars, manly footwear.
