The Most Dangerous Democrat in America: Is the GOP Prepared for Kamala Harris in 2020?

Imagine a combination of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and you've got Kamala Harris, the current seat-warming senator from California who, like Obama, is using the World's Greatest Deliberative Body as a resume-puncher before swiftly moving on to bigger things: the 2020 Democrat presidential nomination. Even as a nobody senator, she's been the subject of dozens, perhaps scores of speculative stories about her future, so now -- lest they build her up too quickly -- Politico and other Democrat cheerleaders are cautioning her to get her ducks in order before heading out on the hustings:

Kamala Harris has been called “the female Barack Obama.” She’s built a national following with her outspoken criticism of Donald Trump and prolific fundraising for fellow Democrats. But the California senator’s rapid rise — she’s just 15 months into her first term — has created an awkward issue: Even as progressives tout her as one of the top 2020 contenders, Harris remains something of a mystery back home.

Her approval ratings are solid, but not stratospheric. And 28 percent of California voters say they don’t know or have no opinion about Harris, according to a recent Morning Consult poll — placing her in the bottom 10 of name recognition among U.S. senators in their home states. A Berkeley IGS Poll in September found California voters — by a more than 2-to-1 margin, 49 percent to 22 percent — would rather Harris stay in the Senate than run for president in 2020.
That disconnect could be a problem with California preparing to host an early presidential primary just after Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina. “There’s an old saying: ‘You’ve really got to secure your base before you start wandering off to do other things,”

That’s going to be the problem for Democrats going forward. The party is so far left it won’t consider a white male. Even a black male is probably undesired. It must first be female.

Either that or a male that is gay or transgender. These are the only allowed choices. It wasn’t enough for the next candidate to be female either - she has to be black.

Good luck with that. They’re literally stuck on stupid and have no idea.

Ahh well, anybody whose ancestry is from Africa is African by default. That makes Trump a Scottish-American then if we all insist on hyphenations.

No Democrat is winning the General in 2020, doesn’t matter who the D’s have at the top of the ticket.

Just like Kerry had no chance in 2004, and Dole had no shot in 1996, and McCain had no shot in 2008, and Hillary had no shot in 2016.

There have only been 3 times in my life, where a sitting party had a shot of taking control after 1 term presidencies, and in reality only 1 time it actually happened, as Bush Sr. really was a 3rd term of Reagan, and he sadly didn’t live up to it and lost. SO the only time a true 1 term has lost in my lifetime was Carter.

Obama should have lost in 12, but the R’s picked sadly the wrong man for the job.

And of the 2 times it did happen, Bush and Carter, it was largely economy driven over anything else.

Given Trump is ending 8 years of complete economic malaise, and truly 16 years of gross underperformance economically, it is highly unlikely the economic cycle will bust prior to 2020.

Dems at on target to pick up the House, largely because the Republican Ecosphere is absolutely clueless about who the voters are come fall... unless they wake up and fix their messaging.... Though the Dems are undermining the enthusiasm gap they have by making loud moves on things that will motivate folks to vote R that the R’s themselves can’t seem to do.

Spitballing the fall right now, I expect D’s to take the house, and R’s go gain significant seats in the Senate. However, things like the lawsuit agains Trump and talk of Reparations and gun control by Dems could very likely remove the enthusiasm gap that D’s have in spite of the R’s gross incompetence and they may indeed hold the house in spite of themselves.

Semi Black, check.

Lawyer, check.

Not a Natural Born Citizen, check.

Communist in Democrat clothing, check.

Went toe to toe with Willie Brown’s One Eyed Willie, check.

Media Narrative touting her Intelligence, check.

Trump Hater, Abortion Lover, Constitution Hater, check.

One thing is sure: the dems will nominate for president the most America-hating person they can find. It will be a White-hater, a freedom-hater, a marxist. It will be someone who is willing to sell out the country to the m*slims for votes. Possibly tom perez, a cross between a snake and a weasel. keith ellison, a full-time hater of Whites. They are full of anger and hate because a White Christian is president.

I’ve had enough of what “Democrats won’t allow”, etc. They lost. It’s time our side act like we won. She isn’t eligible, and she will not be permitted to run. If she tries, and our side does not hammer her into the ground for the NBC clause then I’m done.
