KMA, you pompous jerk. I'm a supporter, and I say it's wrong, wrong, WRONG. And not all change is for the better.
It saddens me. I cannot imagine growing up today, especially as a boy.
Its not a problem per se, but if history teaches us ANYTHING it teaches us that integrating females into formerly all male environments INVARIABLY changes the character of that environment to make it more female friendly (i.e. degraded standards with less emphasis on competition ).
Changes such as this are done with the thought it will benefit girls, but no thought WHATSOEVER as to the effect on boys.
I have been to district confabs and women are all over the place. Why? Because their sons are in Scouts and they want to be a part of it. Boy Scout leaders have had no problems with mom involvement.
The major change that has taken place is when Obama got his way with the national board who gave gay scout leaders the green light. Women had nothing to do with that decision. A gay president did that who had never been a Boy Scout.
Women are not the problem.
Reminds one of the old song by Tom Lehrer, ‘Be Prepared.”
If you’re looking for adventure of a
New and different kind,
And you come across a girl scout who is
Similarly inclined,
Don’t be nervous, don’t be flustered, don’t be scared:
Be prepared!
Apparently he was ahead of his time with the Boomer Generation.
Stop trying to turn my statement into something else.
It's people like you that are always trying to say something different is really the same.
Feminism is out of control. They really do hate men and boys.

“BSA haters here will never grasp the fact that the only constant is change.”
From “Boy Scouts” to “Boy and Girl Scouts”? Can my dog join? My horse?
Maybe they can change the name to “Anything Scouts”. Not a BSA hater, although I dropped out of scouting just past cub scouts. Just find it strange that BOY scouts are now ANYTHING scouts...and I suspect fewer and fewer BOYS will want to join. Unless it is for a chance to screw their fellow scouts while camping.
