Nunez on Bartiromo: Clinton State Dept confidantes passed oppo research to FBI for investigation
FoxNews ^ | April 22, 2018 | Me

Did anyone else just watch Nunez on Bartiromos show? He was talking about how the FBIs Trump investigation got started. Apparently the evidence shows that Clinton associates Blumenthal and Shear gave opposition research on Trump to Clinton confidantes in the State Dept who then passed it onto the FBI to serve as information to begin an investigation.

Look at it this way. The illegal FISA warrant surveillance was begun in July, 2016. The purpose was to destroy Trump and ensure a Hillary victory. By the time Rosenstein lied like a rug to keep the surveillance going it might have been too late for Hillary, but it was not too late to destroy Trump.

I agree. All of this blister and no results. The Demos and the Deep State (one in the same with the RINOS) are still sticking their middle fingers (properly bandaged) in the Air right in our faces. I am sick of it.

I went to Bing. [Not as good as Duckduckgo but preferable to Google.] Here is the perhaps unnecessarily long string I typed in:

‘sessions recused himself during senate hearing from investigating hillary’

I got, frankly, more hits than Comey has unsold books. All of them document my prior statement.

If I can do it, is there any good reason you cannot?

Sessions’ letter that I posted a link to was the result of Sessions’ consultations with ethics consultants following his Senate testimony where he told Senator Grassly he would recuse himself from all matters involving Hillary Clinton.

His recusal letter carries all of the weight of exactly what he has recused himself from.

Thanks. I was maybe taking your tagline too literally.

No one likes to keep re-inventing the wheel!

FR has become a circle jerk of a couple of _pundits and the Funhouse so actual facts get lost.

It’s not a question of can or cannot. It’s a matter of the claimant providing the source of any claim he or she makes.

His recusal letter carries the weight of the recusal, not a statement of his intention to recuse and the promise to consult ethics consultants for the proper recusal.

No, they didn’t pass oppo research to the FBI. Oppo research would be true, and if it was that bad, it should be passed to FBI.

They passed, and FBI knowingly used, a phony document that someone typed up in an afternoon.

There is a second element: They supposedly paid $12 million for a phony document someone typed up in an afternoon. That smells unmistakably of money-laundering.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

well, it’s hard to hit a moving target & hildabeast and the xlintonistas have jumped around several time on this story.

my base goes like this:
1. why did hildabeast pay perkins coie $12mm for the dossier when they only paid british spook chrstopher steele $160,000?

where did the rest of the $11,840,000 goe?

2. imo, the triumvirate of “russian specialist” created the “dossier” out of whole cloth to justify the FISA court warrant, and then GPS scrambled to find credibility for their salacious smear of trump campaign

<> mary jacoby of fusion GPS
<> nellie ohr - fusion GPS; clowns in action
<> david kramer - M.A. Russian Studie Harvard; US State Dept, /asst sec of eurasian affairs related to belarus, moldova, russia, ukraine; McCain Institute; Ukraine Today

3. another revision of the bogus plan was to blame george popadopoulos & the aussie diplomat (and Clinton Foundation donor bird dog for Aussie contributions in excess of $20mm), Alexander Downer

In testimony, Sessions said he would recuse himself. Following that, he studied the issue and consulted with others, and then wrote his recusal statement.

It is the statement, not the prior testimony, that is the controlling factor.

Republicans and Democrats are held to different standards. If Sessions attempted to investigate Hillary, the outcry would resonate all the way to Pluto. He said under oath that he would recuse himself from investigating Hillary. One way or another that commitment would be enforced.

Source please.

You bet.

Sessions recused himself from prosecutions involving Hillary Clinton or the Clinton campaign. Grassley gave two examples during the confirmation hearing, the e-mail investigation and the Clinton Foundation investigation. Grassley asked Sessions about those two examples, and Sessions confirmed.

Link

Similarly, Sessions would also be recused from the Uranium One investigation, the Dossier investigation, the FISA warrant investigation....all of it.

They are all "otherwise connected" to Hillary.

Its good to recall that Fusion was simultaneously on contract to DNC and the Russians. This gave cover allowing DNC, DOJ, and Russians to be in the same building at the same time.

And it, along with the $12 million, reminds us that there is a lot of money sloshing about. Smells like money laundering. And espionage.

Kill two birds with one stone get rid of Rosenstein, Session quits, swamp water a little lower.

In the world of TRUST SESSIONS anything that supports Sessions is not merely possible but assumed to be true. In the real world the Trump-haters dominate in DC and call the shots. The gratuitous praise Sessions has lavished on Rosenstein tells you which side he’s on.
