Being able to run fast is a lot closer to being "heroic" than the passive activity of being a blood donor.
For the second day in a row, I am tempted to publish a link to a coming internet article in progress, because it will deal with the penchant of the Left to deliberately misdirect attention away from the actual causation of social problems. Misdirection--Familiar Leftist Approach.
This tactic needs to be more generally recognized. It has been the Left's chief substitute for rational arguments for the past century.

Thanks. Just added those two to my Netflix DVD queue in the #1 spot.
I’m always adding to my Netflix DVD queue — 231 in my queue today! I’ll die before I get through all those.
Our local library actually has a better old film library than Netflix and an excellent online service for requesting them. They bring them in from other libraries in the entire county as needed. Fantastic service.

Around town, I see many more feminized, whiny-sounding males than I used to, skinny guys with no butts.Pencil-neck geeks!

Louis L’Amour is known for his Westerns. But my favorite of his was The Walking Drum.

Self-Publish on the Internet, and bypass the publishers.
Wider audience.
We don’t NEED them anymore.

That’s fine, I can purchase real literature off of ebay at less than $5 shipped. I have yet to read P.C. Wren, Rafael Sabatini, Walter Scott, etc. I think i’ll survive modern publishing trends.

That is the only Louis L’Amour novel I have ever read. It is not even a western!
