The best coffee in America comes from McDonalds. Dunkin Donuts is a close second. I also like Tim Hortons. Starbucks is over priced horse piss. Well put and totally accurate.

I generally get their hot Carmel Machiado. Its incredibly good. Its good cold too.
Its the best cup of coffee Ive ever had. Nothing else in my experience has come closer than 60% as good.

McD’s Double Cheeseburgers. A bit salty, but good. As for coffee, put grounds in a pot of boiling water. Add a horseshoe. When the horseshoe floats, it is ready.

McDs Double Cheeseburgers. A bit salty, but good. I remember the salty cheeseburgers! That's why I avoided them, and ate Big Macs. But the Big Macs over time turned into little Macs, plus getting saltier and tougher. Just bad food all around. Love your description of their coffee, nailed it.

I now boycott.
Before that: excellent service, good music, lousy coffee.
Est. 1971. My understanding is: The founder learned the trade at Peet’s, Est. 1966. He left, started Starbuck’s with a superior business model and an inferior coffee product.
Open to correction.

I went in during their confront racism week and asked if there was a special table for that. Seeing a black woman seated, I asked the manager if I should sit with the black woman and discuss racism. She said no, that probably wasnt a good idea...
You are funny! Agreed, probably not a good idea.

Those Frappuccinos are yummy but the sugar, fat in them is horrible.
I agree. Terribly unhealthy.

My fave is Cafe Bustelo but if you drink a lot of coffee, we do, it gets expensive. So Ive settle for the Folgers Black Silk. Its pretty good.

Travelling around this part of SE Asia a lot, I’ve grown used to carrying TP.
Maybe obama did even more to level the playing field than I give him credit. (Pi$$ be upon him -— somehow appropriate to this thread??)

Coffee. A gift from God, and healthy, too. Love my morning coffee. I grind my own beans, too -- get them from a private roaster.
As for SB, their lattes are okay, but their regular coffee is way too burnt-tasting.
But that's a moot point. I generally avoid SB, because of their politics. I'd rather go to Dunkin Donuts, where I don't have to hear pretentious banter & the latest hate-fest about Trump.

The best coffee in America comes from McDonalds.
You just disqualified yourself as a judge of coffee.
Starbucks is over priced horse piss.
You just positioned yourself as an authority in horse piss.
As an authority on horse piss, you again disqualified yourself as an authority on coffee, but explained your high esteem for McDonalds coffee.

I would pretty much guess that the strangest experience anyone would ever have in a Starbucks would be to get a good cup of coffee, served by a conservative, at a reasonable price.
Being kidnapped in Starbucks by space aliens, taken up to their UFO and being probed would be a strong second though.
But then, they DO have ‘Star’ in their name, so maybe my second scenario isn’t all that far-fetched.
