The FBI did not want to release the scoop on Weiners computer contents but they were forced to do by leaks from NYPD. As fast as they could they then denied that there was anything criminal there. They screwed up.
Dems seem to think voters react like a school of fish.
I found the most reasonable explanation for her defeat came from Tom Brokaw that night, when he said of the electorate: "They don't like her very much."
You could almost see Lester Holt, Chuck Todd et al. wincing when he emitted that opinion.
lol - they obviously don’t understand that everyone had already made up their minds. I don’t believe that ANYONE decided not to vote for Hillary because of Comey/FBI. All of the Hillary voters shrugged at the mere inference of wrongdoing. They also like to point out she won the popular vote, yes, in all of the high crime areas of the country.
They just can’t stand that she lost to somebody like PDJT. Maybe if they hadn’t alienated the white male from their party she would have won. They consciously let them go. Now the party is run by radicals and the sane ones won’t get back control.

IIRC, Hussein wasn’t campaigning for her until the end (when it was clear black people didn’t like/trust her). Not that the FBI was taking her down, but I believe SHE didn’t want to be associated with HIM (due to the economic collapse and general malaise) - and only reached out when it was clear blacks weren’t “down with her”.
At the end, Trump was campaigning in traditionally Dem strongholds in the upper Midwest while Otoken was stumping with Hillary in Philly - IN PHILLY! She was reduced to begging for welfare votes and lost the state anyway...
