And Guam and Puerto Rico and you’re still paying a tax on your phone bill to pay for the Spanish-American War of 1898...

Amen to that!! Imagine what else would be possible if President Trump had the backing of the Republican Party? Why would any voting Republican want to go back to the way things were? I know Democrats are doing everything to do so.

"All those troops might make the island tip over ... "

Yes, and President Trump is the idiot. I'm still waiting for that Naval Admiral to be awarded a Navy Cross for keeping a straight face and answering his question in a dignified manner and not busting out laughing and calling him a fool. Truly though, who is more to blame, the congressman or the people who elect him to office?

They remain there until we can “trust AND verify”.

We’ve still got bases in Germany, Italy, the Philippines, and Japan. I wouldn’t count on it.

Almost agree with that, except ... the only “reward” should be that a punishment stops.

IMHO, our foreign policy should simply be ...

1) Good behavior is expected, so no “rewards” for good behavior. Sorry, but our resources are the reward of our own good behavior, so we’re keeping those for ourselves.

2) Punishments for bad behavior for as long as the behavior lasts or as long as it’s deemed in our national interest to implement or maintain that sanction to ensure that the situation has been resolved.

We're still in Germany, right?

Yes, but we have about 70k troops there instead of 250k.

I hope not. The Nobel is totally worthless, even more so since they handed it to Obama, the self-avowed Marxist, just for being a black who walked into the presidency. The ultimate participation trophy as long as you are of, by and for the Left.

South Korean President seems like an agreeable fellow. If that isn’t a red flag, I don’t know what is.

Shortly, after we have brought our military home, North Korea will make a move to overtake the South, make Kim Imperial Emperor for life and live unhappily ever after.

At that time, WE STAY THE HELL OUT OF THEIR PROBLEMS. And there will be problems.

Obama laid all the ground work for peace. Trump is just coming in now to take all the credit. Do I need a sarcasm tag?
